  1. After 17 years of chasing the ever elusive Coues deer I finally connected with a giant Coues buck. How sweet it is!!!!

Thank you Amanda Moors and Trent Neff for all your help! I couldn't have done it with out you. Thanks Joey and James for packing it off the mountain and hauling it to the house.

Congrats on a great buck, what's the score on that monster?

  2. Rumor is they retail for about $1600. Would like to shoot one but I will pass on buying one if that's the case.

At that price the dang thing better "pinwheel" the 12 on it's own.

Really I think all bow prices have gotten out of hand..

to much demand, that is why.

  3. Its probably a little different for everyone, but for me, I would choose the area I hunt.

Being that my unit of choice is so far away, I never seem to find the time to scout for individual deer, but I have hunted there for many years and know that there are big bucks in the spots I hunt.

Just have to put in the time behind the glass an on the boots, or get real lucky! ;)

    Gladiator: what a great movie.

  4. Well, it is true buy the best glass you can afford ,i have a Leupold VXIII and is really great is so clear specially on low light and also i have a VXII an other rifle and is really good and i have a Simmons forgot thr model and you can tell the diference , if i was you i will go to sportmans warehouse or cabelas or bass pro and try them all see which one is clear

and the best one you can afford.

do some reseach on the internet sometimes you find crazy prices.

go on e-bay or gunbroker on optics , a lot of those people don't have a inventory so their prices are a lot cheaper.

  5. i think that if we go into remote areas like in unit 27 or unit 23 there are deer that have never smell a human being, the only thing is, are we willing to put in the time and effort to scout all year long those places with our busy schedules?

we live a busy life with family and work and other commitments but i think in those units could be the next world record.

  6. hey whoever said 30B is pulling your leg i hunted 30B years ago and there is no acces there is acces to 1 or 2 canyons and every tagholder and familyare there.

i will never put again for that unit but if you are intersted in that unit wait because there is always leftover permits for 30B

hope this help you in anyway but i will put for 21 , 22, 23, 24b they are close to wickenburg and is good hunting.
