my dad shot an elk with my 300wm 185 vld complete pass thru the lungs pencil holed all the way through zero absolutley zero meat loss. i shot a coues same gun last year 400 yds 1 shot the deer flinched my wife said you hit him so i shot again and again and again then he fell. I knew i didnt miss we get to the deer he has 4 holes behind the shoulder all awsome shots not one of them blew up. to me with the big guns and coues you need to shoot them in the shoulder

Okay I'm gonna chime in a little. Whenever someone posts a pic people start dissecting it looking at the background and terrain grass rocks etc. If you know the unit sometimes you can figure it out. People sometimes will just put in for a unit cuz someone got that kind of animal there then try to get a hold of them just to be pointed in the right direction and say I don't want honey holes just point me. And they won't have a clue where to start. I don't spend 200 plus days a year and tons of gas money and boot leather just to give them away to someone who doesn't want to do the work. My family has to deal with me away from home and I know its tough on them

i wear kuiu and it is worth every bit of the money. I didnt and wouldnt buy into sitka because of the price both are good though. the only way you ll really know is if you try for yourself. but positives in kuiu is 1. light weight 2. dry quick 3. most of all you look good this is a fashion show anymore isnt it?

I am torn between buying these right now, i really like the glass but i cant see myself buying them when i want the eyepieces to be strait. to all who have used them how do you like the angled eye pieces after so long? do they hurt your next? how is it glassing down hill? will i be more happy if i get two strait spotters and mount them together? lets pretend money is not an option because i would like to be comfortable and have super nice glass to see the distance.
