hello - Seems hunters are geting into SUPER BUCKS this yr . Congradulations on a outstanding coues buck - check out the mass - post some of the scoring if possable - pleasse ! will he score typical or non - - - or am i wrong in assuming this will bump the p&y non-typical or is there a different catagorey for vevlet deer - just askin a few questions - if its non- It didn't take long for the ole record - 127 7/8 to fall -- yes - i know its only a rough green score ! - Gary

hello --- look at the main beam length and spread - hes got an extra 12 in between 2 an3 on both sides - besides all the trash (kickers) - you gotta remember thats a SCI score so they add it all - so a 400 base score and add all the extras - plus even one full month for the tops too grow - can add a lot! i think its a great bull ! Does look like unit 9 - nice job guys

hello - gotta go back to ole school - we never had trail cams - never put out salt licks etc. If we were watching a tank i'd be from a distance 400-500 yrds . Deer and most animals have travel routes that can be patterned. Having some idea which direction /trail the bucks takes too and from the water hole - might have been usefull - I've never been in a pop-up set-up the night before a hunt but have built untold numbers of ground blinds. I'd of had a plan B and tried to have intercepted the buck before he got to the tank ! Gary

hello - nice pic - they all look like youg cats - still got the kitty face probably 1 1/2 yr olds - maybe 2 - 3 cats 1 deer aweek each - so eliminating the trio will save 300 + deer a yr . take a few freinds and call'm in dying rabbit works great on young cats - !! Gary

hello - unfortunately we can't really uninvite other hunters from occuping a well known area - just because you found this spot doean't mean your the only one to know about it ! It is quite normal for all of you to park your vechiles with in the same area - - I've had people drive right past my truck- even though I was there first - and come in late and set -up - they did screw it up for me - they had no idea they spooked the deer - I always carry spare paper and pen in my truck - and left them a note - thanking them for screwing up my hunt and since I now know their vechile and where they will be hunting - I'll be happy to return the favor in the very near future - not that i did but it's the thought that counts ! how'd you like to be set -up --camp -a week ahead of time in the best spot - and have someone come in and park their vechile next to yours and proceed to set-up camp- family and all with 30 yrds of your trailer/tent , the night before opening morning -- unfortunatly there will always be inconciderate hunters . who could care less about first come- first serve -- no matter where you go - Gary

hello - hard to say - they do look torn -up maybe a fence line accident - possible ears got in the way during a rutting fight - i've seen mostly split ears - those look bad !! - gary

hello - A hunter had one in elk camp a couple yrs ago - AWESUME _ he just pluged it into the cigerette plug - it was a small - looked kinda like a mini inverter with an antenne - calls were clear and fast - otherwise i had to hike around to the south side -top of the mountain to get reception - they probably make better ones by now - this was not a cheapy little antenne thing - forget the little booster that fits inside the phone - like MIKE stated sometimes just an extention -booster - of the antenne can make a difference - Gary similar to this --- http://cgi.ebay.com/zBoost-YX230-Cell-Phon...id=p3286.c0.m14

hello - my best was taken in 1988 - unit 21 during a late season hunt- Rifle - I was supose to meet friends up in the 6 -bar area but was delayed a day and decided to hunt a different area . I spotted this buck Saturday morning at over 300 yrds. I dropped off the hill and snuck with in 75 yrds-I had actually stopped and took my boots off to walk softer on the granite hillside! my avatar - grossed 119 1/2
