I’m not a barrel expert, but I have this same rifle in 300 rum and it shoots lights out and I have a custom 6.5 prc with a match grade barrel by Proof and it looked like this also when I called the builder I was told it looked like that from test firing it. Who knows, both rifles shoot amazing. That good enough for me.

Through the first and usually half of the other with a 6.5 prc 140 gr. Accubonds 200 yards, 143 horndy eldx. I usually tape the bottles together.

Try sand filled gallon jugs, wet the sand. For front shoulder bone is what I use.
