Made the Best Out of A...

Hey buddy nice write up and clip! Sure was fun this year and the food was the best with your dads cookin doesn't get any better than that!!! Great shot on the buck seems that the scope and gun are a great match. Let me know when the candles get in? Also thinking of buying a chrono just seems that would be a great thing to have with the reloading I got to do now..

    THE TEXT BOOK HUNT

Thanks for all the kind words. As far as other pictures we were having problems with the sun which limited our photo shoot Also this was one of the largest bodied C.Whitetail I have ever shot! We guessed him in the high 120's Again I would like to say thank you for all the nice comments....
  11. Well I thought of this a while back and thought it was time to make it! Here's what I used : 1. 1'' X 1/2" alum. bar 2. gun rest forks were bought from wally world (bought and took them off of the shooting stick) 3. drilled (6) 1/4" holes for the front of the rest so you can adjust where it fits you best. 4. drilled back hole for the second rest 1" from the end. 5. drilled and tapped a 3/8" hole for tripod if you aren't using a fast release plate. 6. drilled and tapped a 1/4" hole for fast release plate. I drilled and tapped 1" past center for 3/8" hole and 1-1/2" past center for the 1/4" threaded hole, this balanced the rilfe out great and seems to work well with the other rifles I have too. Total cost for this was $21.00 I owned the drill bits and taps already and had a extra release plate. I plan on painting this a flat black or something in a camo?

    Someone lose their Trophy Rock?

I guess the comment to serve is to say you're in the arm forces or you made your bed and you're ready to run? If you do serve than thank you for your service On another note for being someone new you sure have a way of making friends kinda of like going to bed with a bed roll full of rattle snakes! Guess you just feel that all people owe you with the last comment you made? Been around self center people like you and no thanks. You can throw what ever comments back at me doesn't matter and I've looked at your about me seem you're a little afraid to comment in there or maybe you're a little with drawn from being a part of this site and more a part to be a azz hole! What ever your hang up is you'll be gone and we'll still be here have forgot this ever came up....... Always a rotten apple somewhere I guess ( I've been told that and I really believe it now ) Have nice trip
