Outstanding Amanda! We have spent some time there with our oldest with surgery and when she was born. Their are an outstanding hospital with great people helping kids. It will break your heart to see the kids going through what they are but it helps to know that PCH is the best place for them to get well.

Labs are the only way I go but that's me( and the kids).

About six years ago me and my brother were archery hunting the august season. We had decided to sit together on a tank with good sign when about 8:00 a group of four bucks come walking in to the tank(the biggest being a good 4x4 mulie). Well they get to 12 yards and I decide to draw back but a 1/4 of the way through my draw the closest buck looks up at me so I stop. After a minute I can't hold any more so I pinch the arrow with my index finger and the stress is relaxed. the buck looks away and I continue my draw but don't release my finger from the arrow causing the nock to pull out and the arrow to clang on the bow. The bucks take off and are seen running over a ridge. Well that sucked but we are thinking they will be back again sometime so we hunt the tank several more times not to see them again. Three weeks later I see a guy I know and he says " hey check out the mule deer I shot a couple weeks ago". He shows me pics of the buck and right away I notice that this is the same tank and same buck that I messed up on. I ask a few questions and find out it was the same group of bucks, same tank and same time three days after we missed them. All I could says was "No wonder he never came back in"

22N is filling up. Went to do a dry in on a roof off control road and it is has more than a few trailers set up with people all around. Payson is covered with quads and trailers. Hope everyone stays safe and has some fun. I am headin south for whitetail on friday.

Man it is gonna be fun and tough. Spot and stalk or siting for hours in a cold blind. The best part is my dad took a week off to join in on the fun. Best of luck to everybody else that will be out chasin elk on Friday.

I have decided to try putting new vanes on some of my carbon arrows that have damaged vanes. Any advice on stripping them and putting the new vanes on would be great. During the stripping process is it normal to get a little carbon splinters? That does not seem to be a good thing but wonder if the new glue will seal this. Thanks

We saw several bulls but this is the one that we ended up taking. We watched him walk 2 miles towards a water hole yesterday morning. Then drove and ran to get in front of him. He ended up not coming all the way in till 4:45 last night. It was a fun but tough hunt . I was glad to be able to experience it all with the old man. Thanks Dad!!!! and thanks to my wife for putting up with my hunting and fishing.

Looks like we have got 8 tags in 22 should be some fun.

No spikes and hopefully something in the 280 to 310 range although any 5 point or bigger I might have a hard time letting walk. I have had this tag 3 other times and the bulls are out there you just need to work for them.
