Looking for recommendations on a good, (relatively) lightweight scope. 20x magnification maximum. Would prefer 15x-18x MOA Glass quality is important but more emphasis on tracking repeatability. NO VORTEX!!!! I'm putting together a new rifle on an XLR magnesium chassis, carbon fiber butt stock and carbon barrel. I'm too old and round now to be hauling a 12 lb rifle up and down the mountain.

So when your number comes up to issue a tag, do you think there will be no tags left for the 8 point unit (first choice) but tags still available for the 15 point unit? Maybe a .01% chance.

He will never get a chance at south because north takes less points and they will look at the first choice on the app before the second. Regardless if it is in the pass or the random portion of the draw If hunt A takes 15 points and hunt B takes 8 and you put B as your first choice you never have a chance at A.

you should always put the harder to draw tag as the first choice. You have taken yourself out of the running for the 23S tag by putting it as 2nd choice.

Weed delivery sometimes they tip you twice because they forgot that they already tipped you once.

I rarely see javelina out at first light when it is cold This year I watched a herd bed down under a large juniper around 5:00 in the evening. I got there at sunrise the next morning and they did not come out from under that tree until after 10:00 am.

23 is great if you are in good physical shape. If you are not it can be unhurtable, especially 23 South.

I have a Sightron SIII on my 7MM. Its a fine scope. I just don't need or want that much magnification. The SIII's only come in 24X and up. I think I paid $900 for my SIII maybe 6-7 years ago. I just looked them up. $1800-$2800. Thanks Joe! I've never used the SII's. They have one in a 16x. Are they as good as the SIII's?

Im more concerned about people that kill javelina, put the meat in the freezer, then throw it out after its thoroughly freezer burnt, never intending to eat it. How it died, doesn't really matter to the pig, nor to me.

Game and fish cant ban quads. They dont manage roads. They cant ban cameras either because they don't manage land use.
