I have a 257 Imp RCBS version with the 28 degree shoulder. Anyone know a gunsmith that might be able to ream it out to 40 degrees? I have had no luck finding someone.

You don’t see many of them in my part of the desert. I’ve spent a lifetime roaming it and bet I’ve seen less than 15 in the wild. Ditto for Gila Monsters

We booked with Island view charters. It was a group booking. I did not hear of one complaint.

My wife and I got back from Sitka last night. Brought back nearly 200lbs of fillets. Had weather from clear to fog so heavy you couldn't see more than 100 feet. Awesome fishing!

I need someone too but for the generator part. I do my own service but this is a 4500 watt generator that falls on its face pulling 1500. It’s a bit over my head

We went to Sitka last summer and are headed back in a couple of weeks. It was wet all of the time. We took merino wool base layers, mid weight waterproof coat, waterproof boots and 2 extra flannel shirts, extra pair of jeans, underwear and socks. We had access to a washer and dryer so we didn't take a lot of extras. The charter supplied overalls and rubber boots. Temps were in the mid 50's but what little the sun shone it warmed up quick. Expect damp/wet conditions and good luck!

Have you shot any Obsession bows? I shot Hoyt and Prime for many years. I hurt my shoulder and bought a Turmoil due to it's weight. It weighed less than most carbons, had a decent ATA and brace height and was as fast as the Hoyts I had owned. Also half the cost.

You were already awarded a tag so they would pass you over. I think
-
For sure. 44A 1st choice 42 2nd. I never put in more than 2 choices
-
No. My old lady had no 3-5 choices.

My wife got hit at 4:00

No 44A for me! But I get to glass for my stepson! Congrats to all that drew!
-
No tags in the draw. Quotas on archery deer. Hunting is going to be a lot different than it used to be.

Too many people applying is the problem. The growth is unbelievable. It's only going to get worse.

I can't even draw a desert rifle tag with 2 bonus points
-
I have used a 10x14 Flexbow on several hunts. With gear and cots 2 people is all I would recommend.
-
Maybe so. I wouldn’t turn down a sheep tag. But big desert mule deer have always been my passion.
-
I’m not to that point yet but I am not who I once was. It’s why I am done applying for sheep. They don’t do much for me anyway. Not like a 200” burro buck does.

combo of dryland and irrigation.

In west central AZ we used to figure 10-12gpm/per acre to raise a crop. At the cooler climate with more rainfall you may be able to double that but at 180gpm you are possibly not going to utilize all of your acreage. We had a small well on our home place that was 180gpm. It irrigated 20 acres of alfalfa on sprinklers.

Same thing was going on in Harquahala Valley a few years ago.
