Was it 10 years ago that there was a meeting at La Placita in Buckeye with a bunch of their management? Some of those guys were confrontational instead of looking for an opportunity to educate. Anything that was said that wasn't what they wanted to hear was met with a "we can"t." I walked away from there totally pissed off at the arrogance and air of superiority they displayed. Never again.

I will never again try to work with those arrogant Richard heads

Disappointed they didn’t address the desert units more. The 40’s are scorched earth. -
***URGENT 2021-2022 ARCHERY DEER OTC HUNT RECOMMENDATIONS***

Probably less hunting opportunities but I’m all for going to a draw. With the influx of people I don’t see how the desert mule deer can stand much more pressure. I didn’t get to hunt much but from what little I saw and the friends that I talked to said that it was an absolute circus. -
I have seen the relationship to the sun set off cameras. Also wind.

And weather. 9 has the craziest weather I have ever seen. It can go from short sleeve weather to single digits or lower in a matter of hours. And the freakin wind can blow. I don't think you need a guide unless you just want to. If you can get up there even once for a couple of days you should be good. And you will get some good advice from some of the guys here. Lots of open country to glass and lots of tanks. We have taken several bulls there.

I have some pictures of farm deer that would mess a guy up. Easy 210 net.

I would like to know their secret.

you guys are too kind. You both are better hunters than I. The student has now become the teacher

You need to be more careful of your pics. I recognized that clump of grass. Nice bucks!

Lots of guys like single pins for distance. I am not one of them. It cost me a 180+ buck a couple of years ago. I went back to a 7 pin sight.....30-90. I gap them for the in between pin yardages. I have used that setup for years and it works for me. The view is more cluttered but it doesn’t affect me.

Didn't that unit open later than the others due to an early hunt?
-
You are joking, right? You can't be serious. A member under an alias maybe?
-
How'd that go? I have that hunt this year.
-
Biggest antelope I have ever seen was in 5BS at Gonzales Tank.

Why? They are under no obligation to tell us squat. There is no deadline to hit credit cards that I am aware of.

Archery elk. As bad as I am getting busted up it is likely my last

Info Desire: AZ G&F Cannot Charge CC Upfront For Tags
creed replied to HuntHike61's topic in The Campfire
I have had it explained like this......you can't be charged for a service not rendered. To get around that they would have to issue everyone a tag and then validate those who draw. I have no idea if there is any truth to this. I never cared enough to try to find out. -
with ranch dressing too.

Freakin good! Back before I quit drinking a guy could slam down a cold beer and eat fried green tomatoes . Life was good!
-
Anything goes? Fried green tomatoes! One of my favorites.

Except for one hind quarter which my bro in law packed I packed a bull out solo in unit 23 near Gordon Canyon. The east side of the canyon I shot him out of had nearly 2 feet of snow drifts. I only had a half mile to pack to a road but it seemed it was all uphill. Took me a couple of hours the afternoon I shot him and the next morning. Never again

Game and fish finally does something right. Good job

I don't know much but want to give kudos to Linda from the Yuma office. I originally talked to her when I first started trying to update credit cards and couldn't. she called me this morning to see how things were going. She took my wife's info and got it done.
