  1. I've got a PSE Bow Madness XL, 27-30" draw length, 70lbs, Vapor Trail string. I am selling the bare bow for $375.

Also have a Hoyt Vectrix, 30" draw, 70 lbs with Vapor Trail string and cables, new cams and limbs. I have a new Vapor Trail string still in the package that comes with it. Asking $375 for the bare bow.

I have accessories for both bows and could work out a price for them if wanted.

  2. I don't post on here often but felt the need to call for prayer for the people of Japan. The horror that those in the stricken area must be feeling is something that I can't fathom.

Although I am one of those apocalyptic Bible thumpers and think that what has happened is a sign of where we are in history, I believe God does care for both the believer and the nonbeliever. Pray for them as a nation and people. Pray for the success of those that are laying their lives on the line to save others. Pray that out of this horrendous disaster that something good can and will come from it.

  3. Here's an email I received from the unit 42 WM concerning a water project this week. I am going to attach a link to a map. If you will click on the link it should take you to the webpage with the map. Click on it and it should enlarge itself otherwise it is hard to read.

    Hey Bruce,

I don’t know if you got the word from Travis yet but we are doing that rebuild of catchment 598 starting next Wednesday afternoon (2nd) thru Sunday (if it takes that long). You’re welcome to come out and help if you are not busy.

    Thanks,

  4. I've put this up on the other AZ hunting boards and thought I'd put it up here.

There have been a couple of questions about start time and it is when you get there.

I know some of you guys hunt 42 so here is something to think about. There is going to be a cleanup there early next month. There is alot of trash starting to gather in some of the more popular spots. Another thing is that people are dumping tires. Big piles of tires are starting to show up.

Here's some info I got hold of.

    Dear Volunteer,

Thanks for helping out on the first ever unit 42 clean up event. The main clean up and activities will take place on Saturday February 7, 2009. Directions to the camp are below and on the attached map. The roads are paved all the way with the exception of the last ¼ mile of graded dirt road to the camping area. If you are just coming out for the day please stop in at the information area for some guidance on where to park and what will be happening. If you are parking a trailer or pitching a tent we can also point you in the right direction at the info area. We will have some water available but you will need to bring any food with you or head to Wickenburg or Tonopah for supplies (20 miles each way). Our fire pits will be available to anyone wishing to cook or warm up during the day and night.

We will have various Information and Education displays and activities going on Saturday. Bring the kids and you may find something fun to do during the breaks from cleaning up trash. Some of the activities planned include an air gun station, geocaching, coloring, and maybe a live animal or two to check out.

I hope to see you there.
