  1. MEC 600 JR is a simple way to go. You can do 2 3/4" or 3". It's a single stage press where you move the empty from station to station by hand. You can add an auto primer feed which makes reloading even simpler. Changing from 2 3/4" to 3" is a matter of adjusting the main tower stem by pulling a screw and inserting it into a different slot. Current price about $250.

    More chevy mechanic questions

When you take the heads off you will need to remove intake and exhaust manifolds so gaskets for those is part of a head replacement or milling job. A good shop can help decide which way to go. About the only other way water is going to get into oil is through a cracked block.

    More chevy mechanic questions

You don't need a long block, just two heads and gaskets! Maybe just two head gaskets and get the heads milled down, if you're lucky.

Limit of one! Hazmat charge, shipping charge, tax makes it one expensive pound of powder.

    300 PRC 245 berger data

Go to Hodgdon web site they list some loads for 250g bullet. I would not recommend using someone elses load as your rifle and brass may be completely different. N570 and Retumbo are close in burning rate and are better suited to this bullet.

    New hunting handgun just released

Very disappointing that they only have a 10 1/2 inch barrel and that trigger sucks! I've built a few 1000 yard handguns with the Remington XP100 action last one was in 6.5X47 Lapua. I've never had one with a barrel less than 14 inches. Too many problems burning all that slow burning powder for heavy bullets in any barrel shorter than that. So I don't think it'll be a 1K contender.

    30 nosler

You're better off doing a 300 PRC or 300 Norma. You can get a Sammi "go" gauge from JGS or PT&G.

    Big Boguillas Gone?

Yes sir that's quite correct and may also the reason that it can only be leased and not sold! We can thank the other major land owner in unit 10 for that. Bruce Babbitt.

    Big Boguillas Gone?

Fifty one percent of unit 10 is private land. We the tax payers pay for the other 49%. Much of the road damage is caused by the private land lessees and owners. They far outnumber the hunters that traverse the land. Twenty four hour a day cattle operations and traffic related to such is ten fold to the number of hunters who access the land. Last year much of the traffic was water hauling trucks and this year with the drought conditions only getting worse roads will need even more maintenance. If you can imagine the damage a 20 ton water hauling truck hauling water every day does to a road vs. a 1/4 ton truck you wouldn't even argue. I've been hunting that ranch since 1985 and I'm tired of hunters getting the blame for it. Another thing is the lessees are the ones demanding the hunting fees not the land owners.

Thanks for putting this info up! Gives new meaning to the term "putting them away wet". That includes saddles and leather tack.
