Easy to get a tag in Alaska. Plenty of hunting without a draw. The logistics are incredible and yes there are some horn restrictions in many of the area's closer to civilization. Find someone that has done it to go with or go guided. I had the help of 2 experienced friends who have taken many moose and even with them it was a task. If you do a search for Alaskan Yukon moose I posted a short story and some pictures of my moose hunt on September 21st 2010.

Public land hunting...what Zeke said

One piece. One of the most important parts of a long range system. Look at Seekins, Badger, Nightforce. I use a Seekins titanium.
-
What Stomp said. Also try Hornady

I second what everyone else said. #1 suspect would be scope or the mounting of the scope, it would take a really rotten barrel to be that bad

Looks like fun Adam. Wish I had gone. Nice fish!!!

There are deer in most of the unit. Glass all day, glass towards the sun during the heat of the day looking for shady spots on hill sides. Hard to predict when they will get up and move 20 feet. I will be out there helping a friend and working on my sun tan.

Wow..that last one is amazing!!!

I think we are down to 3 processors up here in Payson. I believe they have all been mentioned, and I haven't heard a thing bad about any of them. I know Ron and Noah personally and would recommend either one. You should have all of the phone numbers with you so you can take it to whoever has room in the freezer. Good luck!!!

Fun game to watch, I thought they were done with those 2 unanswered touchdowns in the early part of the second half

No 2 chambers are the same, even on the same brand and model rifle. ALWAYS start at the minimum load and work your way up. Yes...in most cases you can exceed book maximums but be very careful to check for excessive pressure on the way up. The same can be said with COAL. No 2 rifles have the same freebore, you can run into trouble if you start to engage the rifling with a hot load that is up near or past max.

Great deal, you won't have any trouble selling those

Hard to imagine anything shooting that bad, that leaves you, the scope, or the scope mounting. Good luck on your upcoming hunt, hope you get it worked out.
-
Great deal, I would buy as a back up if I lived closer
-
