They did a soft launch yesterday of the new site. ThomC, you should have received an email from them after you made an account. There is a link in the email to activate your new account. I had no trouble making an account yesterday. There was no information as far as bonus points for me but they say it will be all up to date next week.

It was just a soft release.

I use a pre-paid card . The card does work if the money is there. I guess if the money is not there, you get another chance this year. For your first comment, brilliant idea. For your second comment, that is total BS. No money at time of draw? Rejected! When G&F charges a card, there is no way to tell if the funds are there or not. It will not come up as insuffient funds, it will just be declined. So then they call the applicant to use another card. If there are no funds, you should be rejected but there is no way for them to know if its a funds problem or another problem.

This happens every year why is everyone surprised? I'm sure if you guys drew a tag and for some reason your card was stolen from all the fraud going on you would want to be called as well. Its never happened to me but I really dont see a problem with it. A couple yrs ago when cards were getting rejected, they moved on to the next person. People were losing bonus points and loyalty points. I believe that is why they are calling people now. There is no reason for a correction period if they are going to call people up to 3 times if cards are rejected.

It will be interesting to see how many or if any applicants get "REJECTED" for invalid licenses. I would think if the applicant had a valid license they will be able to dispute the rejection and possibly get a tag.

I think the results will be out by the end of next week.

This comes up every draw. There is a state law that they can not charge you up front.

I believe it is May 2nd. I'll be Turkey hunting. I would have liked to go.
