Yup I was hoping for one of those for sure. It was hot so I would sit water hoping and walk around or glass for them during the day. It was my first archery hunt so there were a ton of mistakes I am positive.

On my hunt they would hit water at night. I would sit on water until it was very dark and get there at dark in the morning. After the sun came up I would walk the water just to find green droppings. It sucked.

Listing it here before I throw it on gunbroker. Its used but in good shape. Some of the camouflage is worn on the pistol grip. I did add a front sling stud and you can see the loctite stained around the stud. 1 DPMS LR-308 included. I do have 6 new tan PMAGs that I can sell if wanted. They're not in their original packaging but new/never used. It did shoot MOA using my rifle handloads. Im sticking with .308 and don't need this anymore. Located East of Tucson. $1250

I wont lie, getting skunked and not seeing a whole lot of rutting action made me think about coming back next year to camp and seeing more of it. Maybe not?

I was sitting around waiting for something with horns to show up yesterday and got hit with a hail storm and so much rain. The clay was sticking to everything afterwards.

For the last 3 weeks I've only seen bulls together. For the first time this morning I seen bulls pushing cows. If only this hunt started tomorrow........

Its horse shoot. But oh well. I waited too many years for this hunt to give up. This will probably be my first and last archery hunt though. Back to putting in for rifle with the family. Came out a week early. Learned a lot. Just got back to Ft. Tuthill to find someone helped themselves to my chairs, tables, and water equipment. Oh well. Still have some time so hopefully the rut will pick up. And yes it is hot. Crazy.

Yeah charlie kirk's death was real troubling for many reasons. He wasn't perfect but he did alot, and was super smart. Since I served pre and post 9/11 and went to both theaters in the beginning and later as a contractor, I have seen the changes in the country first hand as well. This country is screwed. I have also learned that unless something can be made into a political point, our deaths (military or civilians) are not important enough to hardly mention. God, family, country......in that order.
