Trust me, there are Javelina all the way from Williams in Northern AZ to 150 miles south of the Mexican border.

You're not the first member to do that.

This Saturday? I'd like to get a new shotgun for my Sandhill Crane hunt next week. I have a Model 12 but it is from the very early 50's and I don't think I shoot shoot steel shot through it. The Stoeger 3000 seems like the way to go.

A few weeks ago I was on my way to Payson about 4AM and about 10 miles north of Fountain Hills here comes a car southbound in the north bound lanes. Yesterday I encountered another vehicle headed north on the southbound side at the Saguaro Lake turnoff. Pretty crazy stuff.

That's awesome.

Casino is what I said to my son afterwards even though we were probably 12 or more miles from it. There are a few homes between the Casino and the turnoff but who knows, defintley impaired.

If you are seeing them at monsoon season they are more than likely Spadefoot Toads.

Nose bleed territory, if you have the cajones to get up there.

Interesting topic. My son bought a Poulan a couple of years ago, been in the shop twice for not running. I blame the crappy gas we are stuck with. He shelved it and bought a Husky last month from Tractor Supply. Ran great on the $8 a quart premix but stalls out on the pump gas with 50:1 oil he mixed. For Christmas I will get him a carrying case for it and a case of the premixed stuff.

They breed year round but mostly march thru august.

I have a 30A tag but since I haven't had time to scout this very tough unit I decided to spend the next four days with him. We will most likely be based out of Pine starting tomorrow and would like to do some duck hunting so is Morman lake or Lake Mary an option or should we just try jumping tanks? Total Newbies Since I have a few days I thought about also doing some calling for yotes (don't need help there) just to keep him busy so hit me up with ideas. Probably will take our fishing poles so a trip to Big Lake for trout or Mary for Northerns is also on the table.

Had my eye on them but they don't come in my size.

Yeah, I saw some clown posted it on FB.

A chrono is a nicety but by no means necessary. Until the Chrony came out literally no hobbyist had a chrono. Reloading manuals are very close to reality and one of the first lessons is observation. Now if you are going to shoot ballistic long range you will need one if you rely on the multitude of apps out there.

I have a Swarovski Z5 scope and before I used it I bought a custom turret from them. Well I put it on and went to the range. Come to find out that when I adjust the elevation down to the stop I am 3" high at 100 yards. I am going to call them tomorrow but in the meantime does anyone have any experience with these scope? I searched the internet and came across a video but there is no sound with it.

It's all good. Got it sighted in today.

That was great. I want to go.

I have a tag for the 9th and have OnX but would also like a map. Will probably go to Wide World of Maps in Mesa. Any suggestions? I want to go scout this weekend.

I think I gifted it to another hunter.

Amazing shooter, even with his knees. I think he was shooting a chin gun the year I went. Agree, he is very personable.

Did he ever do his own reloading. I know when I talked to him years ago at the Nationals in Raton he had a guy who did all his reloading.

Freaking awesome video -
I didn't know I have to remove the decoupler under the turret to adjust the elevation to sight it in and then set the zero stop. ALYUAZ sent me a link.
