Shocking that nobody has a home for this poor old lonely Model 1200. Looks like it spent most of it's life in the trenches or a prison yard.

EL's are more popular in that power than SLC's.

So are the tags labeled as UW or RO on the tag? -
Must be the opener.

Are you still on your feet at shot 23? They are mini's.

See, that's what I'm looking for!! =) I'm pretty sure it's black PVC pipe. If it turns out to be metal, I'll call a pro. If it's PVC, I'll get a spool-type thing and get it up. I will go with the goulds though- if I hear that name that many times in this few of posts it has to be good. I'll test it when it's up. If it fails, I'll call well guy and have him come over and figure out what wrong. If it passes, I'll throw it down the hole and call it done. Saturdays the day! Now I gotta find out who sells them. Grainger carries some.

Temperatures are warmer than usual but I don't see any rain in the 10 Day Forecast. The Coues Rut is starting to kick in and the rain and cooler temps we had Tuesday night and yesterday will only help.

That's what I call a true Desert Mule Deer. Congrats and happy belated birthday to you .

As long as it is the same horsepower and is rated for the same feet of head it should work. Keep in mind though that he may be getting a higher quality pump with a longer warranty and his quote would also include his trip to come out and diagnose the system and you are also paying for his years of knowledge and probably some cost for a potential warranty call.

What caliber and what grain? "mid range loads" is code for 454 Casull. LOL

Only 3 days? Is that true for the late rifle hunt too? -
What do you think that wider muley would score?

When I used my 4" Rossi in 357 I used 125gr HP handloads. This year I will use a Glock 10MM but I haven;t decided on a round yet.The HPR 180's group very good but they are FMJ. I am going to shoot some PMC 170 JHP and Grizzly 180 JHP soon and see how they group.

Hard to beat Savage for out of the box accuracy and Savage has some rebates going on too.

The rain and cooler weather will help.

Brine it in a 5 gallon bucket with 2 cups of salt and two bags of ice then repeat after 6 hours. Then put it in the fridge for 4-5 days. Keep it suspended so it's not sitting in it's own blood and drain the blood daily.

Really, so no public land open for the rifle hunts? I am guessing then one needs to anty up and pay the ranchers access fees? With the draw tags I believe you are assigned a ranch, there are no access fees involved. In order for the rancher to get landowner tags, he has to let so many draw hunters hunt his property. This ^. You are allowed unrestricted access to the ranch. I didnt have my ducks in a row that morning and was trying not to be a prick so we did what the ranch manager said for the first couple hours and then glassed up a ton of antelope on a distant part of the ranch. Drove over there to get a good look at a really nice buck we saw bedded just off a road but before we could get to him the ranch manager ran us down and said we couldnt hunt over there as he had elk hunters in there (wasnt a tree within miles) and proceeds to drive down the road and run that buck off the road. We went back to cell service, called the warden and he advised us to carry on with the hunt. We went back over there and found the buck they were trying to run off from us and killed it. Still got a great buck but the whole hunt was kinda tainted. Thanks, I can see where that takes all the fun out of it. Hunting has it's highs and lows but it is still supposed to be fun and not a competition, at least for me. I have 3 BP's for Wyoming, maybe I'll wait another year before applying. -
Those hides look thick, how much fat was on them?

A shame but it happens for a variety of reasons.
