Even better is to use a carolina keeper. You can adjust the height of your bait without pinching your line. Plus with no weight directly on the line if a fish even farts on it you can feel it....

awesome catch. Love pulling in big fish on light rigs.

Used the rifle hunter 1000 for many years. Very good ranger imo.

Lance, out of curiosity why don;t you upload this as a pdf and have everyone print their own? Save you a lot of time and mailing costs. -

I have the beta master chrony. Having the remote is nice, but the overall unit is difficult and quirky. Once you learn how to use it it is ok though. Nice to use with everything from bows to rifles. Never used a different one so I don;t know if I like mine or not. I just accept it for what it is.

Palm was at 4:30 and the dove was at 7 pm. I should have done some in the twilight, but I was busy with dinner.

My bow won't shoot 600 yds....... I learned the hard way that GPS is not a safety net. While elk hunting years ago I went out in the dark in my rhino to drive to my hiking spot. I set my GPS in the seat next to me, in a puddle of water and it fritzed. "No worries", I thought once I arrived. "Once the sun comes up I will be good" (I was very familiar with the area. So I went off into the dark chasing bugles. The sun never came up as it was a heavy overcast day. I was lost . Fortunately I DID know the area very well and even after having been turned around in the dark, after many hours of wandering I stumbled across a road I knew. I do carry a compass as well so I at least new which direction I was going.

So here are some pictures messing around in the back yard. I am very pleased to say the least. Eye relief is not great, but I am no expert and don't really care about that anyway. The focus is smooth and the image is crystal clear throughout the range. The pictures do not do it justice. Any complaints about image are purely due to the camera. My neighbor has the atx 95 and we will do a side by side one of these days FrankenMount phone attachment(cheap scope cap welded and glued to a holster) See the palm tree at 200 yds? Eurasian at 63 yds Power pole at 750 yds Nighttime fun The light gathering ability of this scope was amazing. I took several other pictures through the trees that were so bright it looked like a sunrise.

I miss the magical time that was childhood back then. Men taught boys how to be men by letting them be boys.

We knew this was coming, it was just a matter of when. Being an Eagle was always such an honor. Embarrassed for the BSA now. Wouldn't be surprised if the Catholic Church follows suit as they have been somewhat vocal as well.
