i guess technically a revolver is not a "pistol".

I have bagged three deer with a .357 handgun. it is a leathal legal weapon.

use the finnlight for bad weather or when you are tired . use the classic in good weather. when you you fell vigorous.

the rifle is more important than the caliber. an orginal remington 700 ti in either 7mm or 300 4.5-14 , talley light wieght .

Creed- you reload so you reload to her comfort level. you canadd a muzzle break 150$ brings a mag down to .243 level. you lucky to have wife that will hunt . rifles fit , balance and if it is attractive ( blue vs stainless, wood vs plastic) to her are considerations. enjoy shopping.

FLAT- what rifle?? i have that scope it is a very good scope for hunting , very very clear. i like a higher power for long range.He is shooting a Remington 243 Flat- the .243 is a great round, i am assuming you are shooting a remington 700 and the trigger has been adjusted nicely. with a load the rifle likes i believe you could shoot out to 500 yards. your 500 yard groups will tell you. i love that scope; for long range on coues i like a more power. leup and zeiss are good ones.

i believe that is a jav. i believe feral hogs exist. i am interested where. 50,000 rifle deer hunters in az last year, spent many days hunting. how many saw or bagged a feral hog in az??

competiton shooters for 0-300 use two piece. lighter.

Joel- i use two piece. if i need more elevation i use burris zee offset. what load do you use in your 30-06 for long range??

JC- i use those in several hunting calibers . awesome! and they are pretty, especailly in nickel brass. they are perfection on coues.

for coues -- norma brass, WLRM primer, 140 berger, 69.5 H-4831 ...... .030 off the lands

guns last a long time. get a good one. fit matters where recoil is concerned. i would get a youth 243 either a vanguard or rem 700. the tikka is a great gun too. does he have an elk or deer tag???

i use a 165 or for my all around 30-06 load. a balistic tip, horn or sierra btsp for years . recently have been loading tha 168 balistic silver tip.
