Started mine out in the dessert playing with the quail wings on a string(still her favorite game). Had my wife start firing the training pistol from about 200 yards away, slowly working her way into us. By the end of our third trip out, my wife was standing next to me. Never an issue.

They are only a few hours from me where I am working at here in GA. Call and see if they will allow local pick up. If so, I can swing down there and either pick it up for you and bring it with me when I fly back next month or just put hands on and make sure it is as advertised and in stock.

I'm in the middle of redoing my garage and have found a bunch of decoys I no longer use. I'd much rather them be used by a young hunter just getting into the sport, as that is how I came to own most of them. Here's the catch: I would like you to share with the site how you got into waterfowl hunting, or a story about your favorite trip, or least favorite trip, fondest memory so far, etc. Who ever has the best story by the end of the day next friday, the 7th, will get the gear. Oh yeah, your parents also have to vouch for you that your grades are up to par. The gear will be available for pick up in the Cave Creek/New River area next weekend, and I would suggest an SUV or truck bed to pick everything up. I will try to get some pictures up this afternoon.

Has anyone ever been charged the oversized baggage fee by southwest when traveling with a rod tube? I was shocked this morning when the manager at the counter said it was oversized and therefor subject to a $75 charge.

I had my last dip on August 6th, 2006, and last smoke the day before. I cannot stand the smell of cigarettes, but every time I see a can of Copenhagen, I have to open up and take a whiff. That stuff smells so dang good, and love the memories it brings back.

It's not that much, just a box or lb every time I go in if it is in stock and is part of a load I have. Been doing it that way for several years now. Adds up after a while though. I am starting to get low on bullets now that I have my Dillon. That thing cranks them out crazy fast.

May finally take advantage of my wife's timeshare in Cabo and get a week of fishing in. Also going to put forth a good effort for deer here in GA if I am still here.

Tomorrow morning, my company is flying me out to GA for a large project about an hour east of Atlanta. I will be out there anywhere from 2-14 months. Been checking out the GA DNR website to see what the hunting and fishing opportunities will be like. Turkey season starts in less then two weeks! Anyways, it looks like I will be staying in the town of Covington, and was wondering if anyone has ever been out there hunting or fishing. Any references or areas to check out would be much appreciated. I'll be coming home every few weeks, but that still leaves a lot of down time, and figured what better way then to spend it then out in the woods! Thanks.

Shoot the bow and see if it is worth $250 to you. If I shot it and did not like it, I wouldn't pay anything for it.

Those things are beasts. We had two at our training center that were very, very old, yet ran smooth as silk. I loved laying down beads with those rigs. Will pass on to some guys at work, it won't last long. Wish I had the cash myself.
