I leave for unit 27 on Friday and ill be up there hunting and scouting for my dads archery bull hunt! ill come back to tucson tuesday than ill chase them little coues until September 9th when then ill head back up to unit 27 for my dads bull hunt! GOSH I LOVE HUNTING SEASON!!!!!

I hunt the solo units quite often (alone) is it a smart thing to do? Pry not . Don't get me wrong hopping out of your truck at 430 am alone to open a gate can get scary, or backpacking in 3 miles In the dark alone is scary too. I do hunt with a sidearm with me when I'm archery hunting. I have had multiple encounters with illegals and 1 encounter with drug smugglers that were well armed. I did my own thing and told them I was just a hunter that I would cause no trouble. They went one way and I headed straight back to my truck. That day I wasn't alone my dad was with me but he was a few miles away and we both had radios but somehow the drug runners had some advanced technology and they scrambled my radio frequency when I tried to contact my dad. All I suggest is always be aware of your surroundings, carry a side arm, have your cell phone and BP number and a GPS to give BP your coordinates if you run into any illegal activity. Thanks everyone! Yeah thank good were one big finally tuned athletic machine family! We will definitely put some miles on our boots. My dad and I are leaving now to go check deer cams and next week we ill be heading up to unit 27 to do more scouting. I'm thankful that we got this lucky with all these great tags this year that's for sure.

My dad and 3 brothers have the December 36c tag as well. I got the October 36c hunt. Good luck to all

I would be much obliged, if you Geotag those bucks for me. How are those bulls looking up there? All the bulls I've seen in 27 are growing good! I saw two giants bulls already in unit one and a monster mule deer already in 3B. I can't wait for September 13th!!

Seen some really nice bulls and mulley bucks in 27, saw a nice antelope buck in 27 as well. If anyone has the unit 1 tag PM me as I've seen 2 giants the last few days. Saw a 4x4 mulley already too in unit 3B. Hurry up September!

I'm up in unit 27 now scouting for my dads bull Hunt and all I've seen is mule deer! A few nice bucks too.

I'll be up In 27 next week for 10 days hiking,scouting,shed hunting, and fishing. My dad and little brother have the early archery bull hunt in 27! I can't wait for September! Hoping for lots of rain from now till then.

I feel like the BP system is just a bunch of BS..... It all comes down to the luck of the draw.

My dad and Brother drew Archery bull tags in 27 this year. Thats his 2 archery bull tag in 3 years in 27. Him and i kinda got into it when we were putting in so i jumped on my own app and didnt draw and now i feel like an idiot :/. Oh well can wait to get out and help him and my bro tag out! IM PUMPED

I was after this big boy until some quail hunters messed it up. :angry: . Cant wait to get back out wednesday and thursday to get back on him. Its nice to see them still rutting!
