Swivel if mine came across as personal I apologize. I'll put my name in there instead of yours since many people shoot much better than I do. I believe ethics is personal and can not be dictated by a set of rules.

Some of you holier than thou guys are exactly what is wrong with this world. Swivel- I can guarantee you there are many people that can shoot better (every time) at 1000 yards than you can at 400 yards or less. Or 120 yards with a bow and you at 50 yards. Does this make them unethical because you can't do it? Absolutely not. I guess every hunter in the early 1900's -1960's (and before) was unethical and we are so much better than them. Shooting at running deer, iron sights, recurve bows at 40 yards. WOW, they were so unethical, we should all be doomed because our ancestors were people of such low moral character.!!! GIVE ME A BREAK, and you guys get off your high horses.

My 2015 archery coues takin at 110yrds
WHT_MTNMAN replied to azhamill's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
My opinion is keep the distances to your self- it is self-serving without merit except to pat your own back. I've shot animals at long ranges both rifle and archery and I do not see it as an ethical dilemma but as controversial topic that will not please everyone. My close friends are the only ones who know the true distances, be it 5-200 yards. It really shouldn't matter. Congrats on some fine trophy's. Well done!! -
SCI 5th biggest archery desert mule deer

Awesome buck!! congrats and welcome to CW.com -
10 years ago I killed my first archery bull and wanted it mounted. Due to school, no money, young family etc... I picked a taxidermist that was very new and extremely cheap. I was very ecstatic of having my bull done quickly so I could enjoy the mount. Well after it was pointed out by a few that the taxidermy work was sub par, (which I had realized, but didn't care about because it was in my budget at the time) I scrimped and saved and got lucky enough to have an established taxidermist re-do the mount. (probably 4 years later) Since that time my ideas of taxidermy have changed and I would rather pay once for quality than 2 or 3 times getting something fixed. I do not regret my decision at all, but now I appreciate quality work and will never use a sub par taxidermist again.

Grey- still is kinda...you only get credit for spread up to the longest mainbeam..

I like a light weight shoe, (trail runner) for warmer weather archery hunts.

I've mentioned before, but I like the destroyer so much I had both the original and the limited edition they sold for a limited time. My son uses my original and I sold the limited edition. I wish I would have kept it. I'm shooting the experience now and absolutely love it, I like it as much or maybe even better than my destroyer and significantly better than any of the other bows. If you are looking at brand new, take a look at G5 prime and elite, both have great bows this year. Elite would be the only one I would upgrade over my experience.

Phil- That is awesome!! way to go.

I had only trouble with my vortex viper, especially tracking in the turrets. I agree with Stomp, spend the little extra for the Leupold VX3.

Great Goulds, nicely done. Good luck on the Bison, its going to warm up nicely this week, hope you get on them.

If it is raining fairly hard they will be out in the wide open where they can see...normal sleet, little snow won't mess them up much.

IMO the experience is the best shooting bowtech since destroyer...

Rossi- I disagree, most Tundra owners have been other truck owners due to the relative short time of Tundra production. Very rarely do you have Tundra owners that revert back to the other brands. 1. Reliability is King, and though the Tundra isn't perfect. Many of us do not have thousands of disposable income to buy a vehicle and keep putting money into fixing problems. For the most part Tundras just don't have problems...Even the first few years didn't have many issues..my dad has a 2001 Tundra with 320k. He had a fuel pump go out at 270k, that's it. A person may prefer the looks and style or individual features of other brands but for most of us the reliability trumps any quirks the Tundra has. It is the best value overall, just look at resale.

I know...that's why I'm waiting ( probably futile I know )for tundra to follow suite..

2010 tundra owner here...if they don't announce a Cummins option for 2016-17 then I'll get another gas engine in 2016...I've owned all others and tundra is for me...
