Hi Casey, I've killed several with my model 19 S&W. All close range, 10 to 30 yards. Kills em dead! Then I switched to a bow and still kilt em! I'm thinking of switching to a spear except that would probably work too and they taste like dog doo! TJ

Curtis I disagree. I have bought used bows before from people I know, but I have bought new bows too. Spending $500+ for a bow sight unseen off the internet makes me uneasy. I know people who have been ripped off. If you plan on keeping a bow for a while, a new bow comes with lifetime warranty and is not the worst investment. I just bought a 2013 Bowtech Assassin straight from the dealer for $499. They are going for almost that much used on archery talk. Curtis, where did you buy your Assassin? Thanks, TJ

Flatlander, don't sweat it! You'll do fine. Just love her with all you've got and everything will work out just fine. I have two girls, and there was no instruction manual! They are 26 and 23 now and they are both well grounded, successful, and happy! They did everything I did, hunt, fish, camp, boat, ect.......until they were teens, then they sorta went the boys, Mall, social thing. Do worry, it's all good! I'm hoping I get a Grandson some day....but a Granddaughter would still make me very happy! Just enjoy the ride. It goes Very fast! John

I was coming down the mountain today listening to a radio show about GMO (genetically modified organisms......also known as food) and why this has been banned in many countries but the US population is being used a Genny pigs! So yeah now they have my attention. I like keeping my house yard in shape and someday I hope to have a greenhouse and grow my own vegetables at the cabin where I plan to retire.........so it's never to early to start learning right?

We bought a new (to us) TV from a member here and now we need to get rid of our "Priceless Antique" TV. This Mitsubishi console TV is old but it still works perfectly! The cabinet is solid oak and is in great shape. We would like to see it go to a good home as it has been very good to us. It weighs a lot, so bring a truck and a BIG friend. Thanks for looking!
