A guy I work with had an ad this year elk hunting Hiking back in the dark thru heavy brush with his rifle in a Kifaru gun bearer in the forward postion. The brush moved the saftey and pulled the trigger. Why the gun had one in the chamber is beyond me.

If your backpacking in 0degres, you need a 4season tent and an apt with a mental heath professional😜 Ive been on a few of those late rifle/late archery hunts. It’s cold but I ain’t sleeping on the ground.

Any thing I’m aware of with a stove jack is floorless. I don’t have anything 4 season because I only backpack in Arizona, there’s really no need for a 4 season here. But techincaly the snowy side bivy is 4 season.

Why not your regular boots? I stalked as close as 9yards in regular boots and the stalks I’ve blown have never been boot noise. It’s always the wind
