I don’t know any one who glasses (main mode) with a spotter. Most pull out the spotter to take a look at something they saw in their binos.

If it were me I take one set of binos. Late season elk stick out like a sheet of plywood. And if you can’t see antlers your too far away to do anything about it any way. Like stated about they get pushed up to 10-11k. But they are not off limits there. You can still go up there and kill them. snow. Snows great it makes sign easy to find and read. Also it take a foot is snow to “push” elk down.

Just goes to show. There’s no “best”. Every ones different. I have kenetrek insulated and non insulated. I hike enough that they each get re-soled every other year.

US Troops interfering with hunt in border units 36B etc

Geeez ... so archery season is ruined!! 😎😜 -
Short answer is yes onx can replace your gps and work with no service if you’ve downloaded the area. But if I’m out for several days my phone battery’s dies. So I either bring a small battery pack to charge the cell phone or use a gps.

Ok now I’m really lost. There is a lot of information and questions in the original post all I did was ask for a little clarification. Yes I have a small penis but I don’t see its relevant to this thread We definitely need a Tone and sarcasm font.

Desert Backpacking Buck (October Rifle 2018)
oz31p replied to a topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
Nice work. Back packing is some the the “highest grade fun available” -
I didn’t set up a drop chart for the record. He has no plans to do any more shooting before the hunt because he only bought to one box of ammo. He is going to scout the unit for the first time this weekend. Lolol

I though we were having a discussion. I was trying to understand the question. People don’t like long range hunting and that’s fine. Just come out and say it. I don’t wear a flatbill or own a 6.5 of any kind. I don’t have any social media or understand why people use a pound sign. That said i practice a ton but season appropriate. The few months prior to what ever season it it. Archery archery, pistol pistol. But shoot a rifle all year long. Longest cold bore one shot kill was a mule deer buck was about 8years ago at 775. I know a friend of a friend has an 7rm from the 70s, mounted a scope a few days ago. Zeroed with Hornady Percision hunter and asked me to print a load chart out to 1000yards for him. His hunt is in like 10 days. Talked about setting up for failure.
