If you google around those 700s had issues with the wire breaking inside the shielding near the tps. Also there are diag codes but you have to google how to retrieve them

With out a $2500 spotter your better off with the the best binos you can afford.

I’ve been on the peaks hunts several times. I don’t know what hunt you have but I don’t think you can be too high or too steep. The last cow we killed was at 10150. We had to tie her legs to a tree so she would not slide down while we quartered her. The peaks are not like any other area in the state. Some of the elk rules don’t apply. As the season come and go the elk will continue to get pushed higher and higher.

My buddy bought the 15hds with out knowing and we hunt together often. Yes the 12 el over the 15s. Every day. I don’t even use a spotting scope any more. I can glasses a bedded buck/evaluate him enough to know if I’m interested in him. Or I’m too far away to kill him today any way.
