Public access is pretty limited. There are a few places but they get crowded. Plenty of deer though. If your coming from nm there are better units with better access. Imo

T/c encore in 300 wm. fully Decked out under 7lbs. Will kill all n American game at just about any range your good enough to hit um from.

I tried them. I was not impressed. they are loud in flight. And a pain to shoot for me as they hit my lip at full draw. They never fell very secure.

I just Came from a 3 day backpack trip with a 3700. I think your 5200 would be perfect sized for a backpacking trip.

But unless you affect the animal physical structure or its nervous system they will not drop in there tracks. When lead bullet impact it mushrooms transferring energy to the body creating a hydraulic shock wave. That shock wave normal affect the spinal cord and they drop. Copper bullets mushroom slower or deeper how ever you want to look at, transferring most of its energy into the dirt. atleast you didn't help cause cancer is California More importantly how come this post dosnt have any pictures?????
