    scope problems

its really my problem more than it is the scopes. i went out this mourning to teach a 9y old how to shoot a scoped rifle. after 30 min of instruction his first group was about 1 1/2in. he got a little better as time when on. he was shooting a 243 with nikon 3-9 prostaff off of my gun claw. he shot about 40 round and did great. we then switch to pistols because he sayed "this is too easy" my dumb a$$ left the gun sitting on the claw on the tripod. we where 20y away when the mother of all dust devils came through and knocked the whole dam thing over, scope first into the ground. right before we left i wanted to check my zero other wise i would be worried until the next time i shot it. i have hotroded the rifle my self and its a 1/2moa rain or shine. i took 3 shoots at 100y, walked up to check the target. target is was clean. i was not really that surprised, i have been quite happy with this scope but i seen it hit and it hit the ground hard. i did not want to fix it on the spot so at least now i know i need to remount the scope zero out the adjustments and start over. but coyote season is still months away so i got the time but i have a feeling ill be back out shooting monday or tuseday if i can find the time so make up some more ammo.

  8. as side from every thing all ready stated. 1 California 2 term limits the real shame is that in the district he represents( he represents them well) he will be reelected. when you have no term limit and an overwhelming blind liberal base you can say what ever you want at a town hall meeting knowing that your supports are clearly not in attendance and outnumber the critics 10-1. he has held that seat since 1973. this is for the people, by the people. unfortunate the people are addicted to the doll. but then again what do i know im just a mean spirited misguided Arizona racist. and i quote " as high and long as it take." the link posted is just a clip for what its worth its worth watching the full version as well how long has it been since the minute men were on the border? and what was the body count when the were??

  18. so what, we just gave back part of mexico that we "stole" any way. i wonder how much bigger that highlighted yellow area is going to get before arizonans will stop being call racists? deerhunter we pay taxes so politicians (R&D) can give the cash to their friends to either push there agenda or to line up a job when they get thrown out of office. excuse me i mean "The public good"

    19a antelope

i found a herd of antelope today. i counted about 67. 10 bucks, it seemed like 1/2 were fawns so i think that is a good thing. but i know more about rocket science than i do about antelope. these pic were digiscoped with high wind from 600-700yards. there were many mommas nursing multiple fawns. i watched them for about an hour. at first i was about 100y but while i was setting up my tripod they spooked.

  23. the best holsters that i have found are made by el paso saddlery. they are a bit pricey but they are hand made to your specs and youll only buy one for each gun for life. they are made custom to your model. on their web site most of the photos show a ssa but in the description they can be made for an auto. when im handgun hunting i carry a either a 1911 or a ruger super black hawk both in ep saddlery tanker holsters. i like the tanker style because they are always easy to get at, they dont interfere with a back pack like a hip holders do. ep saddlery
