My oldest in on for the first time but I’ve been so busy hunting I have put much thought into the coming results

becaue there’s never a declared winner. Maybe we start measuring by either volume or distance?Last time I went out I didnt even get my tripod out. Just walked up to where they were and shot it.
Then it crawled in a cave and died and I never saw it again.
That's something to be proud of I guess? Nice work. Good job. Real thumbs up.
Oh boy, not this s%#@ again. Why do all these threads turn into pissing contest every time anymore.
There's a thread already covering what happened on that one.

Didnt take bow with me, didnt want to interrupt daughters hunt and of course I see a shooter buck. Deer were everywhere today.

I’ve had mine for about 2 years now. This is the only issue I’ve had.

. While we’re at can we stop calling them pigs of any kind. They are not pigs, they are not related to pigs. They are javelina.Alright Gents! If you are one of those guys that call javi 'stink pigs', can you please stop putting in for them and drawing tags??? I would really like more options when taking up left over tags. You don't like the meat and I'm not suggesting you should. They stink and taste awful - end of story.
Thanks for the consideration. :-)

you do it your way Ill stick with my way 😉Just fyi a arrow in hand is not a great defense!!! Especially If that arrow is carbon. L.O.L. a angry wounded Javelina will chew that arrow right up to your arm and keep going! I have had wounded Javelina latch onto me and it was not something I wanna repeat.
Bright flashlight. Head lamp. Noise like a caller. Do some things to see if he pops at ya BUT THIS IS STILL NO GUARANTEE IT IS DEAD. I would figure out a way to get'r done of it was me but since,in not there in your shoes I am certainly not gonna tell you the best approach! Except I would howeverbtry few things 1st to see if I got a response from him.
Good luck and God Bless! Hope you still have all your blood later today

They are not tougher than any other animals. They are small animals with small vitals. Thats what makes them hard to kill.Javelina are the toughest of all big game. they are like tiny little mike tysons running around the desert.
I don't eff with them anymore.
To the op questions, I would craw in with an fixed blade arrow in my hand and a head light. finish off and drag him out.
What did you do?

It’s only 19% of course they’ve made it the 19% citizens notice most

I read thru every post and basically you wanted a lesser punishment because you self reported.
You stated you shot a turkey and saw it was down, then decided to shoot another one. What other facts matter?

For whats its worth....I think Ive been extremely successful spot and stalk archery coues deer mule deer elk and javelina in Arizona. I d guess my average is 10 stalks per kill.

My daughter did the online/field day at 9 years olds. She a poor reader so I helped her through the reading but she answered the questions. At the field day a staffer read the entire test to her.
It’s not he state bar exam, it’s more important to know the information than completing it on your own.

After every one complaining about how tough the late season hunts were combined with the lack of rain I already started spreading rumors that all the critters have been killed off. 😃😃
