I'm loading up some 308 and 223. Do I need to have a crimp die or can I just load them? Both will be shot from a bolt action.

I'v been trying to at least move north to show low just to be out of a major city. Hopefully we still have a few years so I can get my kids the heck outa here.

How many times have the shells been loaded? How hot of a load are yours and your friends reloads? I've had a few shells split atfer several reloads and I also load pretty hot.

How much private land is in these units? My son has this tag and we are going to start scouting when it cools down a little bit.

I like a larger field of view so I can see whats going on around what I'm aiming at.

Clarity was getting a little fuzzy but not too bad. It was more of a zoom thing for me.

Never go out without a tag. My wife and I ran across 3 cats in the last two days of a hunt in 22n a few years back. Niether one of us had a lion tag. I won't be making that mistake again.

I have a VX-3 6.5x20 with the 40. Last year we were making shots at 700 yards. I turned it up to 20 and didn't like it. 16 was the highest setting I was comfortable shooting. Probably switching it out this year after my upcoming hunt. Nothing wrong with the scope I just don't have a use for that high of magnification.

My wife and I had a 24a late oct hunt last year, and drew the same tag this year. Last year we were hunting between the pinals and dripping springs rd. We both tagged out and saw a few other bucks we missed. Also saw a nice buck scouting the week before. This year I am thinking about going north between highway 60 and the rez. My question is if there is any kind of markings identifying the rez boundary or do I need to make sure i have a good map and know exactly where I am at?

I have found the boundary on the map tool or whatever from AZGF. I guess I'll just buy a map and draw the boundary that way.
