People think this is common but like OP it can take years for all the factors to come together for archery success. Way to stick it out and head to plan "B" now "The Honey Hole". What are the gps coordinates? JK Congrats!

Agree, a STUD BUCK for a STUD! Great work young man. Love seeing kids succeed. -
I have read in multiple places that red/green colorblind traits come from hunter who can spot animal better due to the trait. I’m not disabled, I have a super power. JK. But good luck blood trailing. “From an evolutionary perspective a hunting group will be more effective if it includes a color blind hunter (one in twenty) who can spot prey that others cannot.” Read more: https://shivamber.com/the-benefits-of-color-blindness/

I have a Zodi X-40 for sale that works great. Only reason it’s for sale is I bought a Chalet A-frame trailer that has shower. http://zodi.com/hot-showers/x-40-shower Retail $500. I’m asking $200. It runs off bulk tank. I put up privacy tent on top of my UTV trailer so water flows thru boards and you stay clean while drying off.

FYI: This is scam. Filed claim today. Chinese seller thru PayPal with bogus delivery by UPS to Other address in same zip code so they can claim delivery. I’ll be going to Outdoorsman for live purchase.

Looking for recommendations for a Pellet Smoker
Shane.A.Luke replied to PRDATR's topic in The Campfire
I have a Green Mountain Grill. Said to be built better than Traeger. I love mine and use it a lot. Did brisket flat again yesterday with amazing results. Really easy. 9# flat on at 9:30pm at 200°. Woke and wrapped at 5:30am (165-170°) bumped up smoker temp to 250°. Took off at 12:30 @205° rest until 1:30 before serving. I season 24 hr before with Kinder’s The Blend (salt, pepper, course garlic). -
Same here. 0 for 7 No too bummed as I have a WY elk tag and UT archery deer tag along with my son's NM antelope and elk tags. Shoot straight, good luck this fall.

Thank you for confirming. -
I would be glad to assist. For the person coordinating, lets set a data and time.

As far as directors chair, why not go all the way to the full throne. It include a magazine holder.

Prayer sent. If there is a gofundme page for funeral and other expenses please let me know. I would like to donate to the family.

Other people well, it’s called family. Wife, four sons, and father. I’m super excited when they draw. Some of my most memorable hunts when I was only guiding. Still wish app process was streamlined for multiple species.
-
Crazy thing is your account is probably flagged for extra screening just by you calling. (JOKING) PS. I handle 7-8 different people for multiple species. Most are applications are one hunter. I sure wish the AZGFD application process was easier. Seems like it could be more streamlined.

LMFAO. That’s funny. Never heard that one before. Looks delicious.

My family likes their brisket a little leaner. Flat was perfect. Everyone is happy. Nice Father’s Day. Enjoy your.

“Rest for 3-hours”. WOW. I don’t think I can hold off the family that long. They are usually asking less than 30-min into rest. Sounds like a lot of us have same idea after being trapped at home this year. I’ve probably done 6 briskets since COVID started in March. It’s been a low and slow year so far. Happy Father’s Day to all.

Love these blends.

Wrapping helps push thru stall and will get to finish in time. Check temp at 10:am and may adjust up to 275° if rise is slow. my flat is small at 6.5#. For full brisket 15#+ I start at 8-9:pm at 200° over night. Wrap in morning and increase to 250° for early afternoon meal. I’m sure yours will be delicious.
-
What time do you want to eat? Then advise can be give for finish process from here. I doubt it will take 3-hrs @350° to get to 200°. I’d really watch it.
-
I smoke for 4-5 hrs then wrap at ~165°. I use butcher paper but foil works. Take off at 205°. Rest in old cooler w towel folded over it for 1-hr. Nice and juicy. Foil will finish faster than paper. I generally leave smoker at 225° to 250° and don’t change even after wrapping. Temp depends on time to feast.
-
Put 6.5# brisket flat down at 4:30 am. Should be ready for afternoon feast. Love my Green Mountain Grill!

My son drew a youth either-sex muzzy elk tag for NM GMU 17 (Oct. 10 opener). I will be traveling to scout the unit in the next couple of weeks. I upgraded my OnX maps for NM but interested in a good physical map. Any suggestions? I don’t believe Flatline maps does NM. Also, any suggestions on where to start scouting would be appreciated. I don’t mind putting in the time but distance forces me to plan my time in the field. I’m very excited to be guiding him again this fall. Hunting trips have created memories for a lifetime. I’m grateful the department have youth hunts. Good luck to all.

Boat and trailer loans make the lender rich. Used prices are dropping daily due to COVID19. Although dealers will be dropping prices 50% just to payoff their floor plan financing. Good luck.

Awesome! Nice to get it done opening morning. Congrats.
