    Utah Draw's

Bull skunk late season for me. I may have to hit Albertsons as well.
  2. Just wondering if anyone had any success stories to tell about unit 10 elk. My wife drew the early bull tag this year and she is stoked!!!! I was hoping some of you could tell some stories and show some horn to keep it going. Thanks

    Wyoming Lope

Thanks for the input. I shoot the Nosler 165 BT's and have killed WT up to big bull elk and they have done well. I was looking at the AMAX for a cheaper replacement due to Nosler jacking there prices way up but it doesn't sound like this is the one for me. FYI: My daughter has shot two elk(cow and 6 PT) with the 270 cal 130 gn Nosler Accubonds and they have been absolutely phenominal in performance. All three bullets have passed completely through with good terminal performance. She also killed an 82" Whitey last year with them and they did very well on it as well. Might be something to consider if you hunt bigger critters at some point. Thanks again for your input.

Congrats on the lope. That is a long shot. Can you tell me how well the bullet performed once it hit the animal? I have been expirimenting with them out of my 300WM but havent shot anything yet. Thanks

    2008

That is one of the coolest stories I have ever heard. Congrats to you on the deer and keep those kids in the field. I once took my fam on a 12 hr hike and at the end my 7 year old said " Thanks for taking us on the hike Dad while everyone else was cussing me." THESE ARE THE MOMENTS WE REMEMBER FOREVER. merry christmas, Dave
  14. Looks to me like this guy will grow into a real toad. I am going to try for him during the archery hunt in 23.

    Wife of the year

Definitely a keeper!!! I would say late winter as well but stick to the white mountains or similar high country.. I have two, one from down south in December with short hair and one from the high country in August with short hair. The long hair cats are awesome and I hope my next will be one. Good Luck.
  21. Congrats!! I can see a lifesized mount in your future.

I think Joe is doing a great job and we should consider him for the first human cloning.
