I think more guys are willing to hunt by the border now just cause they wanna hunt. Even with the problems there. I picked up a leftover and hunted on the border 4 years ago and would go again. Hence they are going faster.. From what I hear the economy isn't much better. Guys are hearing there is some Quallity animals down there too. just My OP...........BOB!

Thats what I mean. They think We are from Mars Sums it up. In Montana I let all the locals drive the roads ,I get 1 mile back in and let them push the deer. Most the time You don't have to walk a mile either.(or for a Camel) Years ago I even put My 10 power Nikons on a tripod and it made a huge difference. Then I got 15's. And I only have had Minox and Doctors before that and they do great. Me and My huntin partners all use 10's or 8's walking and 15's glassing from the tripod. See more game than can ever imagine once I started the tripod thing. Up north here in Montana their game #'s are way down and the folks think it is bad. It's way better than anything in Az. except the BAB , I think the huntin is great. Going to Wyoming in 7 weeks for Lope for the first time and was warnd theres too many . Hopefully one too many big ones.................BOB!

Kills Me with all the hunting shows I watch , how many guides ,outfitters and so called professional hunters glass in Montana ,Wyoming ,New Mexico and even when they come to AZ. that don't use tripods or 15's. They are glassing a 3-4 mile long and wide bowl and say, GEE, I am not seeing much today. They are using their 10 power Leupold or Nikon off hand (cause thats their sponsor) and no tripod. I preach it to folks up north here, and most are clueless. ? ,How come others around the country havn't picked up our style of glassing? Especially in the West.....................?...................BOB!

Displaced from Az. there isn't alot to do up here in N. Dakota. So I watch the AZ. sports teams. Really hard to digest the Dbacks baseball team this Year. Hopefully Tony Larussa will take over for GM Towers and get some talent in here. Having the Venzuellen National team be 70% of our team was not a good idea No clutch hitters on the team other than Goldshmidt. Lookin forward to Cardinals and Sun devils in football. Should be interesting. Don't know about the Kittycats. Hopefully they hold there own. Suns should be descent again in basketball. ASU, dont expect much. Cats in Hoops if don't make the final 4 this coming year will be a dissapointment. Lottsa talent. Back to baseball , I think Kirk Gibson should go too. They play bad fundamentall baseball. Had to rant watching them get beat 11-1 to KC rite now. What do You guys think? My direct tv bill is high with all the sport and hunting packages, but with 6 months of winter , gotta do it. Good deal on pistol grip. I been using that one for 20+ years. ? I am gonna inherit a 303 from dad this year that I hunted with 45 years ago as a 12 year old. Do they still sell ammo for them. Perralta might be good with Aj Pollack who's coming back soon, I think they will keep Monterro. Hill I think will be okay if He stays healthy, Trumbo I don't know. They need more power. Then a new pitching coach too. Some of the starters aint been bad but that bullpen is atrocious. Hopefully Corbin can come back next year...........BOB!
