Prong horns are comfortable but I think the bottoms wear out to quick and they lose their waterproofing way to quick. They have great grip for hiking is a plus. I had mine re souled after not to much use. I'M due for a new pair now and don't know what to get. Gonna look at Kennatrek i think. I agree with You guys on other ones falling apart . Had 2 pair of Rockies fall apart. no more of them.............BOB!

I killed everyone in My yard or around it in Cave Creek. Would get 7-8 a year in Yard. Wife didn't like Me killing em , but I said They die or We or the dogs die. Not much to think about there. Eastern whitetail never excited me, but since I moved to North Dakota for work I have seen a few that are pretty neat. This Buck lives in the city of Minot so he can't be hunted and people feed him year round. Regardless he is a freak and big one. A guy told me that he is around 180 right now. I saw him for the first time June 16th and he was big then but not like this. I saw him at 40 yards with binos and he had split eye guards and they were about 12 inches long. Zoom in, its a little blurry but only a $200 camera.

I was over where I see Him last nite and another guy who has been watching him also said there is a double droptine buck in there also thats allmost as big.. Now I have more reason to watch. Wanna get some better pics anyway.............BOB!

There is a campground North of Kings Anvil just a bit on the east side of the road if You want showers and safety. Don't remember the name ,stayed there about 6 years ago...........BOB!

Predators is the main problem, along with to many tags. They all like to put the drought at the top of the list but us desert dwellers know how to survive in the elements including the Animals. The lions wait at the few water holes is the problem in the desert..........BOB!

I have Minox in ten's and 15's and love them both. Had the 15's for about 10 years and Can find anything My buddies find with there Swaros. And they don't fit My narrow eyes ( Swaros). I bought a 700 dollar Vortex scope for My new 300 win Mag last year and not crazy about it. My buddies said they have the best warranty on the market. So I bought it , I am not much of a researcher. They are a hot Item because of their warranty, but if the chit aint no good to begin with what difference does it make. I had a pair of Doctor 15's for 11 years before the Minox and they were fine too. Havn't spent much time with the new Vortex scope but I will this year ,so we shall see. If I don't like it , it will be on here for sale. Of course the Swaros are a bit clearer and they should be for 2k more. Just My 2cents, thanks............BOB!
