I have spent a ton of time in 3c the last few weeks. I haven’t seen a elk.

Push them across the highway for me. The bucks i have been watching went to their hiding places.

A new pet peeve as of this morning. Azg&f helicopter surveys the day before an antelope hunt.

Last nights buck

I don't want my daughter to waste the one point she had to get a rifle tag, so my goal is to look at every antelope in the unit and pattern the one that fits the best. I know peak growing season is the next couple of months, but can remember if its mass or length that grows the most. Does anyone know?

I've noticed more in the show low area.

Entering the conversation as a possible shooter. Taylor swift. (Not pictured Travis the pimp) he beat the crap out of this buck

My nephew got his first archery buck yesterday. He is 13. They took it back to camp to skin and quarter. After everything was done, my brother was sitting there enjoying a cold beverage and another buck walks into camp. My nephew convinces him to shoot it.

I may head there in the morning and check the area I am thinking about, before i start my final week of antelope Scouting.

Only ate the butthole and part of one quarter. My brother went back to camp to grab a couple of waters, leaving my nephew there. My nephew saw the lion at 40 yards.

Knowing that area pretty well. There's only a couple of places to lose a vehicle this weekend. One is where 504 crosses chevlon creek, some of those turns are very nasty and the drop offs are extreme. The other is the deep woods on the east side of chevlon lake.

I left alot of the crazy details out. Broadside 20 yards. They left it until the next morning (unsure of the hit location, watched it bed) and a lion claimed it.

More importantly, we can hunt with an atlatl now?

It gives you id number with or without cell service.

Andrew, Maybe you can explain the process of tag dispersion. I think they are questioning the subjectivity of allotment.

A friend shot a bull with one. Just above midway point (vertical) 2" behind the shoulder(horizontal) complete pass through. Maybe 10 drops of blood and nothing the last few hundred yards. My only theory is with sevr's streamline design and where the shot placement was the slice didn't quite open up like a more traditional 3 or 4 blade would. The cavity was full of blood

I bought this at an auction with the full intent of turning it into a garage beer dispenser. My wife has advised me otherwise. Older, fully functioning. The cheapest one I found on ebay was 576 + shipping. 400 obo or trade.

Tom Wagner. I think I still have his number. I will text it to you.

My nephew caught one.

Back when I was in detention in school a million years ago one of my punishments was catching pigeons. Get four t-post, wrap all sides in chicken wire (say 2x4). Dig out a couple of pigeons sized holes at the bottom. Sprinkle the inside liberally with birdseed. They will walk in and not get out.

The 'new' season/quota starts again July 1, so you're good with hunting muleys.

Antelope 19A Archery Hunt looking for a decoy
idgaf replied to andrewmilich's topic in Antelope Hunting
I would do some beta testing with decoys on bucks you do not intend to hunt in that unit. Chances are mature bucks have seen every style of decoy. -
What unit did you get?

I think there's one off of Borden ranch road, but I have never been to it. Ironically, my brother just got some promotion with the city and he is doing cost studies now to put one in.
