    Them cows deer are fornucating.

Saw a old mature muley totally distracted at last light.  Snuck with 60 yards when he turned and ran full throttle right at me, he turned at 20 yards.  A much larger buck was getting him away from his does.

I never said he didn’t hunt buff there. I said he didn’t run the salt.

RJ  began several years before this and tried to get Lance to commit to it  when he wouldn’t, Russ did it on his own

The bison was on salt(if I grabbed the right video).  Actually, you can make the point of contention that the planted salt was the reason for the ending the migration.

What happen with Chad and Russ anyway? Weren't they partners at one time?

Was TLO running the salts up there before Russ?

I'll just keep getting bonus points until this mess clears up.

Tlo and russ were partners than something happened.  Chad and russ worked together than something happened.

Put in the mess will never go away but you can work around it.

The salt lick in question is not on a water source. There is nothing else there to make a Buffalo come to that spot other than the salt. That is the case for about half of the salts there. But if you have been there, you know this.

The guys pretending that a salt block next to a public water source is the same thing are the ones building a straw man.

There are a couple of 'secret spots' that I found in my wanderings that I would have sat if not for the  salt and blinds that were on the travel paths for bison.  They were points of access from the canyon.  The animals would have been with or without salt.  This has become a conversation of what's better looking the roach or the rat.

So if you came across a man made salt lick in the woods, with a blind next to it, you’d set up a blind right next to that and sit it? No water, no tank, just a salt lick. That’s the spot you would pick and would be all surprised if the guy who made it got pissed?

Multiple the salts stations and blinds by 50 and then ask yourself that question.

  6. From my experience this is a very different hunt.  Guide(s) have 80+ blocks of salts in a 3 mile stretch.  Much of the material is supplied by hunters and g&f.  Attitudes and self righteousness is high with everyone involved.  So that alone changes standard hunter courtesy that we are accustomed to.  Talking to about a dozen of the other hunters during my 2019(very wet year) hunt had choice words for all of the parties involved.  The Leos that were  hunting had some super choice words on the circumstances.

From my research on this topic before hunting this tag. This is not the first time their was an altercation. Big reason why I had my particular hunting partner (he's violent)with me the first 9 days while I learned ropes.
