A FB friend was out looking at fish and game water catchments on forest land and was approached by a ranger, and was told there were "posted signs" and was told "no recreating". Has anybody had issues with a forest ranger or posted signs during the jr hunts on forest lands?

Took the javi in my pic with a 9mm springfield xd. Had video of the hunt with attached camera on the pistol. Get close and just about any caliber will work. Never bow hunted before so I imagine its like the rush hunting with a bow.

I get that. Lots of deer in those mountains and most of the areas mentioned are pretty large.

Just have to be prepaired at all times to hunt sometimes. I am going that way next weekend with my 10 yr old to scout out some spots for our fall hunt. We will keep an eye out for sure.

Looking for a group my son and I can camp with. Our hunt is the Nov 8th to the 14th and would love to hang out with anyone that has the same hunt for obvious safety reasons.

Left over tags came last week also. Had them before the check cleared!

It happens. I got the ame results for the unit 33 hunts. Thought it was a for sure thing until it came up with nada. I agree with Kaffer62.

After reading the 14 pages of court documents, It leads me to think Wagner was right in suit. His supervisors were in the wrong in how they handled it. From what I read Wagner was not the one who bungled it up and tried to hide the story or keep it on the down low.

I have a couple friends who got the error and missed the draw, did this happen alot to others or was it isolated?

In all fainess, when you hear something from a paid store employee one tends to take it as it is. When I worked retail we had meetings every morning before shift to go over changes in stock or whatever was going on at the time so when customers asked we could inform them.
