Just bought my conservation license at G&F (mesa office) 2 days ago. Same printed out piece of paper as it has always been. Well that saves me a trip driving down there. I had bought them online the last couple years but got tired of the flimsy paper. Figured if I went down there to buy one they might give me one like sportsmans or walmart does.

What kind of license did they print out for the ones that went to G&F and bought a license. I hope its not the same piece of paper you can print out at home because they are not very wallet friendly.

Not sure if this has already been asked or answered in this thread, but i was wondering if you buy the license now will it still come with that 2 pole stamp they're adding next year?

I believe if you buy it before January 1st you will save a few dollars.

You could use your bow in October or November if you have a rifle tag/ muzzle loader tag. I am guessing you are asking about the over the counter tag tho and that is open for about 3 weeks in August/September for most units. It opens again about the second or third week of December for some units and then January 1st there will be more units open and closes January 31st

Pretty sure you can shoot a boar or sow as long as the sow doesn't have any cubs in tow. You can purchase the over the counter tags from Walmart, Sportsmans or G&F. I am guessing Cabellas and bass pro probably sell them as well but I've never bought tags or licenses there

Looks like for archery hunt numbers 8003-8009 you would need to draw the tag. Then the hunts below those in the regs that says "archery only non-permit tag required" can be bought over the counter

just pulled out the boxes on mine. the first one I bought was a Cabellas heavy duty meat grinder 400 watt/ 120 volt/ 3.5 amp 1-2 lbs meat per minute my newest one is an Open Country 400 Watt/1.75 HP 5+ lbs meat per minute I like the open country a lot more.

I use: Two grinders 20' stainless table meat scale- cutting boards meat paper/ vacuum sealer knives meat tubs tape I think that's about it other than any ingredients you might want to use to mix into the meat depending on what you are making. you really only need a grinder, knives paper and tape to get the job done good enough. I am definitely no professional but when I seen the bill on two elk at the processor I have been slowly learning more and more about it. I know how to find and cut out all the different meats off of a quarter but I haven't learned the names of them yet.

Its fun if you have the right equipment, enough people and a cooler of beer. Give everyone a job and make an assembly line so you can crank through it and get things done. someone cleaning, steaking, grinding, wrapping, taping. I did bratwurst for the first time last year and it took me FOREVER but I was alone for the majority of the work.

I lost one this weekend. Brand new camera I put up two weeks ago and its gone..........

I would wait till tomorrow afternoon or Saturday morning. It has to be in their mail box Monday when they check the mail or you don't go in the draw. If it arrives earlier or later it just gets thrown out.

Left overs do not use your points and I believe they just pull envelopes out of a box for the left over draw. So no computer draw.

From what I understand they're closed on sat so they won't receive it til mon mornin. Mail it on Sat and they won't get it until mon afternoon ^Correct. They're closed on Saturday and they wont begin the draw until they receive Mondays mail is what I was told. So you can send it Friday or Saturday.
