update - Rifles have arrived. Sako rifles have been my favorite for years. Have been trying to decide on scopes for the last few days. Probably go leupold or zeiss. Not a fan of vortex. Anyone have a couple 4.5x14 or 6.5x20 they have lying around collecting dust?

Gotta disagree with the crowd. I dont see any of them scoring much over 300". Nice bulls, but short mains, short points, narrow and spindley. -

Age restricted hunts state you must be of a certain hunt prior to the hunt dates. A kid can apply for tags before legal age as long as he turns legal age prior to. I would think the same applies for residency as well, although I have never looked into it. -

I bought 3 packs. Went antelope hunting. 5 shots later the poor antelope was dead. I didn't give them away - I THREW them away! Worst performing head I've ever used. I'm sure others have had good results, but this was my experience. -

There are 2 guys that work for the county who pack out elk. The bull in my avatar is my son's first bull he killed when he was 11 in 22North during the late hunt. Those 2 gents offered to pack it out for free. Very good people.
