I'm looking at the regs, and I'm confused about the harvest limit for overlapping hunts. For example: Aug 19-Sept 8 --- Unit 27 ---- Limit: 55 Aug 19-Sept 8 & Dec9 - Jan 31 --- Units 27 & 28 ---- Limit 50 Aug 19-Sept 8 & Dec9 - Jan 31 --- Unit 28 ---- Limit 50 How do these hunts with overlapping dates & units work? If someone kills a deer in unit 27, how does G&F decide if it counts against the 55 tags for 27 or the 50 in the combined 27/28 hunt (or both?)? There's no hunt number or draw so nothing but unit and date to tie a kill to one of these limits. Am I missing something obvious here? Thanks in advance.

Got it - I knew I had to be missing something obvious. Thanks.

These are pretty hard to beat. https://www.amazon.com/Homall-Gravity-Adjustable-Folding-Outdoor/dp/B07L635CBD/ref=sr_1_7?crid=2RM3H0WP1JK0H&keywords=reclining+camp+chairs&qid=1659455580&sprefix=reclining+camp+chairs%2Caps%2C111&sr=8-7

And...they get to vote.

Those things are a blast to shoot (pardon the pun). I've got my Grandpa's old .50 cal percussion and a flintlock version from Cabela's. Still haven't killed a piggie with either one but it makes for a fun, challenging hunt.

Overlanded Toyota Tacoma - PRICE LOWERED $29,500 OBO
Coach replied to OSU Cowboy's topic in Classified Ads
For perspective, I bought my 2006 double cab Taco (brand new Right Toyota), 4x4, e-locker for $26,500 including TT&L. -
So sorry for your loss. My condolences.

Very nice! Congrats on a great ram, and the mount turned out fantastic.

Man that looks and sounds delicious. Gonna have to give that one go.

The bacon ends are almost all fat, so they act as a replacement for fat in the lean elk, the rest is mixed right in, so it all cooks together - no undercooked bacon chunks. Always medium rare.

Hate sharing this, but not really a secret. I mix well trimmed, lean elk with bacon ends during the grinding - lots of bacon ends. From there, the sky's the limit. Love some thick sliced bacon, candied jalapenos, avocado, dang, time to start up the grill. Great thread - let's keep it going.

Nice, bump for a very clean looking truck at a good price! -
The results are in. Nobody agrees with this proposal.

Weird - I never even knew they had burgers. I might have to try it, but... it's hard to go there and NOT get a build-your-own calzone.

Hey guys, I've recently finished restoring an older jeep that I plan to use almost completely for off-highway driving. Of course, in order to be registered, it needs to be insured. I was just wondering what you guys have found for cheap insurance for a situation like this. It will be driven mostly on forest service roads, but some street driving. It will be driven very few miles per year, so a per-mile type plan may be worth looking into. Thanks for any suggestions.

Man I too remember the old days at Lee's Ferry. My dad and I would go all the way up to the dam and drift down. Sometimes with our fly gear, but 2 & 3" rebels would catch them all day. We lugged a watermelon up there, kept it in the water and after dark, it was amazing. One of those places where in the sun and sand it was like an oven. The water was so cold you couldn't stay in it more than a couple seconds. Setting a cot right on the water's edge late afternoon was like heaven.

Great info. Thanks.

1980 cj7. This is the first I've heard of collector's car insurance. I'll look into that.

My wife and I sat through the line at in-and-out to see what the hype was all about and couldn't believe how popular it is. Greasy, bland - just yuck. Up here, Mr. Zeke's makes some good burgers, as does Persnikkity's (The Fire House is good if you like it spicy). Pinetop Brewing Company's Pinetop Burger used to be one of the best "eating out" burgers I've ever had but I hear it's gone downhill since the owners are no longer managing it hands-on. Still worth going in just for the beer - very good IMO. The Abbot is outstanding if you like that style. Generally, I don't order burgers out because I'm partial to my own elk burgers - hard to beat if I do say so myself . Have a great weekend.

I have the AGC as well, and really like it. As mentioned it is pretty bulky but (not sure if these apply to you) I like the ability to have my range finder inside the front pocket, usually my cell phone on top, there's room for calls/wind indicator/etc and even my leatherman. Makes it nice when you have a backpack on and need to get to certain things quickly without taking off your pack or having them stuffed in your pockets.

I was just wondering where you guys get real info on stuff like this because a ton of it is blocked and/or never makes it to the MSM.

I agree with the comments on the Attack pants. I love them for hunting but have regular colors I wear daily. As I get older my butt has shrunk and these are about the only pants that move with me and don't want to fall down.

Congratulations, Ammon! Nothing like the kiddos' first! I called in a nice tom with one of your calls this weekend and ended up dropping the ball at the one yard line (shot too early). They really are great calls.
