OK, I got an email and drew the first unit A deer tag in the second round of the draw

Anybody draw? I know 3 people including myself that didn't draw. Crazy how the draw ended at midnight Saturday night and by 8 am Sunday morning they let you know if you drew or not

My buddy already got his tag in the mail but his portal thing says he didn't draw.....I say... turkey tags for everyone!

i used clay bundy in 2010 in unit 13b and had a great experience with them, i think they charged a couple hundred bucks for my brother to come along to pay for the food

The August hunts are best if the prickly pear has fruit on them,you can glass them up pretty easy. By the time October rolls around the fruit is usually gone and the bears with it. They'll be eating acorns, Manzanita, cedar berries and harder to find at that time.the better units are 6a,22,23,24a. I would try to go in one of those units next August, start scouting and looking for prickly pear fruit towards the end of july-mid August in middle elevations

bump on the jumping jack,i've had mine for 17 years and love it,easy to tow,lots of clearance to take anywhere,easy to set up and take down,last year used it on a rez coues hunt in about 3" of snow in single degree temps with a big buddy heater in it and stayed warm and toasty
