I'm in the market for a new "do all" hunting rifle. My last rifle was chambered in 7 Mag, it shot well, just didn't fit me as well as I wanted. The only reason I didn't default to the 300 Mag is I've got a bunch of brass, bullets and cases for the 7mm. I've been looking at the standard Browning Hells Canyon rifles, reviews are positive and they feel good in my paws. That's the direction I'm leaning, just need to decide on chambering. This will be used for deer, elk and pronghorn, assuming I am lucky enough to draw. What's your opinion? Tia

Ok, that does it. Looks like the 7mm gets the nod. Now I gotta sacrifice something to get something. Ha

Well done, great job.

PRDATR, I've had the Active for several years. All ammo stored inside and is in great condition

Sorry to hear about your son. Prayers headed to you and him.

I have 400 rounds of 454 ammo that I no longer have a pistol for. Mostly loaded rounds with some empty brass included. 100 are of my own reloads and the remaining came with a package when I purchased a 454. Those reloads I cannot vouch for and would recommend pulling the bullets and re-reloading. Pick up in south Chandler only

The tag god blessed me with an archery bull tag, therefore need to add some new gear for my hunt. This is like new with around 40 rounds fired, mainly just to get the break in and barrel seasoned per manufactures instructions. It comes with original box, manual and picatinny rail. Cost is 1000.00. I also have a McMillan Game Scout stock that I bought after getting the rifle. It cost 740.00 plus I added a couple swivels for the flush cups. Both rifle and stock are in perfect shape. I will also sell the McMillan separately, it will bolt onto a Winchester receiver as well. Prefer to sell with the Montana rifle, price is negotiable. http://montanarifleco.com/index.php/asr/

Just got this last year, NIB when I bought it, I've put less than 40 rds. through it. Like new with original box, manual etc.. original walnut stock and new McMillan stock with flush cups and adjustable cheek piece (otd price was 750.00 on stock alone) It will come with some loaded rounds and brass. Also have new set of RCBS dies that are negotiable. I've decided I have too many Rifles that are neglected, therefore this one has to go. Will also come with scope base, scope and rings not included. Additional pics as needed $1650 See link to Montana Rifle website on the ASR rifle, this one is a Mule Deer foundation rifle with engraving. http://montanarifleco.com/?page_id=149 As stated above, I've put about 40 rounds through it, the first 20 were barrel break in and the next range session was start of load development. Of which I used Barnes bullets and one powder so not a fair accessment of accuracy but groups were in the 1.5" MOA range.

I just saw on AZ Central where G&F website was hacked by animal rights group and that all applicant info was erased from their system. Therefore elk season has been canceled until next year.
