Youth rifle poll....... Need some input
More D replied to Shooter McGavin's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I ended up with a .243 for my daughter. It shoot just a hair under moa with the two factory loads that I have tried. It is such a light, compact rifle that I like it for myself too. What is most important is that the younger shooter is slowly worked up to learn to handle the recoil. -
Don't risk it! Take them back to the shop who sold them to you. Explain to the manager that you made it VERY clear what the tires were going to be used for. Keep up updated. ...

"How did I live without it?" Hunting Gear
More D replied to rossislider's topic in Other Hunting Gear
Tripod Baby wipes GPS Upgraded bios....compared to the $15 Bushnells I started off with. Pole cat shooting stick I got on clearance when Jensens closed. Range finder Lastly my Ranger, which I no longer have. ..unfortunately. I have many but each really changed the way we hunt. -
My wife had never even seen a firearm in person before we met. She was on board with camping, hunting and fishing from the start. She shoots better than me and has taken better/bigger deer and elk than me. My now 12yo daughter loves to the outdoors just like her mama. She took her first cow elk last October. My 6yo son cannot wait for his turn behind the rifle on a hunt. For our family it is a lifestyle. ALL of our vacation planning revolves around what hunts we get drawn for. My kids would rather go hunting for deer/elk than go to Disneyland. Needless to say the women in our family hunt and help decide what hunts we apply for as a family.

Starting off right! Congratulations.

Heading up for the weekend and I know very little to nothing about fishing. I am guessing that lake is for trout? Any hints, suggestions as to how to set up the kids poles or type or bait? Thanks
-
The kids had a great time thanks to all the great tips. You all made me look like I knew what I was doing. Thanks for all of the awesome advice! This high dollar pole seemed to get the most action. My boy absolutely loved every minute. My daughter did not want to leave.

Just over 9mo ago when my daughter got her first Elk and big game animal. I loved every minute of it.

2012 6.5x16ft tandem axel with brakes on rear axel. Expanded metal sides, split rear loading gate. 2 5/16 ball instead of the regular 2inch. No issues, still looks new. It was used to move from NM to AZ for two trips back and fourth then stored indoors up until the end of last summer. We purchesed to transport our Ranger Crew but we never got to use it because the Ranger was totaled in a crash just after we got it. I held on to it in the hopes of getting another Ranger but unfortunatly that is not in the cards for anytime soon. $2200 firm. Permeant plates and clear notarized title ready in hand. I had spoken to a few members about a partial trade. some were very appealing but mostly cash is needed. I would be ok with an AR or 1k of brass 5.56 as partial to help out the buyer. Please PM for questions, additional photos, etc.

Wow.....very nice. Just the way I dreamed it...... -
I have a 6.5x16 for sale here in the classifieds.
-
I hope that is true. It would work out better for the buyer. The nice lady explained it to me that way when I got the title. Maybe she thought I was a bigger trailer? ? I will make a trip to MVD with the title and make sure.
-
TTT with an update. .... Per AZ MVD the license plates are issued to the individual not the vehicle. Utility trailers are $129 for permanent plates BUT the new owner will only have to pay a prorated amount. Basically less than $129. Otherwise as mentioned the title is ready to go.

It sounds like the DPF. Is the inside of the exhaust tip clean or black? It should be clean. If it is black the DPF is bad.

12 days in Vegas=no money. I would buy the rifle and not go. In the end you would have a BAD ARSE rifle.
