Bought this tire from Discount Tire after a blowout back in May. It has exactly 33 miles on it. The distance to get me home. Paid $162.40 with tax for just the tire, no mounting or balancing. Will take $100 cash. In SW Tucson.

A few years ago we glasses two great looking coues a long, long ways away. We Elmer fudded our way to 500 yards of where we bedded the deer. Three of us glassed for at least six hours trying and praying to pick the bucks back up. We finally called it and started to make our way back to the truck because hiking back in the dark was not safe. Within 15 minutes of walking another hunter on a quad bumped the deer up in the same exact area we had been glassing. That to me is coues hunting. Getting your butt handed to you just about every time.....

I have started a new fire pit but only because the previous campers burned a bunch of trash, mainly plastics. I will clean it out before I leave and cover up mine too. I follow everything else mentioned in the original post except I leave my firewood. I have found evidence of dumbasses cutting down live trees for firewood. Mostly because I appreciate when a nice pile of wood is waiting for me. At the end if every trip everyone is handed a trash bag and all trash is picked up regardless. Those who complain about picking up other people's trash are never welcomed in my camp again. Ever.

If you ever get to Tucson I'll take it.

We bought our first TT new in 2006. Sold that one in 2015 and got a big 5th wheel within 4mo. We just sold the 5th wheel back in February. We loved every minute we used them. We certainly did not use them enough because as someone mentioned here already work, school and life in general got in the way. When we did use the trailer it often made for some of our very best memories as a family. When ever I asked my kids if they wanted to go to Disneyland or hunting in the trailer we always went hunting. Now my oldest will be going to college next year so I figured that I had to get my financial situation in order. When I proposed selling our trailer my family would not have it. It took a lot of convincing but they finally understood. Watching "our" trailer being towed away by it's new owner left each of us with watery eyes. We will get another one one day. Even though I know exactly what it costs and the work they take for us it is/was worth it.

I 100% agree with NoTags. Tires need to be changed very often. Last year I tried to squeeze one more trip on my tires and it cost me big time.

The ability to buy now is a very good thing for those that can. Time is on your side. Inventories are aging by the day and dealers will soon start to cut prices to motivate the buyers that can. Most people probably buy new because the terms are stretched so far that monthly payments are doable by just about anyone. I wish I hand cash in hand to pick up something.

Most banks and CU will finance RV but the rates will vary quite a bit. I suggest looking into a financial company that caters specifically to RV's. For my first travel trailer I went in to the dealership with prior approval and it saved me at least 3% interest. Once you get your rig there are insurance companies that specialize in insuring RV's too. The company I used was out of Southern California and they saved me $40 per month and they had substantially better coverage. Like agreed upon value in case of loss.

I found these out while hunting in 36A, the Sierritas. I figure that I was at least 1/2 a mile from any roads. I was climbing up to a glassing point so steep that I was crawling on all fours most of the time. They are metal and magnetic but appear copper colored. The first photo really gets me....they are wing shaped.
