Did anyone draw the muzzleloader bull elk tag in unit 10 last year? Not looking for any honey holes! Just wondering how the hunt went and any advice is welcomed. (I am not a pro at hunting elk in november) I am hoping that my credit hit was for this hunt. Thanks George.

idgaf, I do think it is funny the way some people ask for advice. Agreed on that point. I just feel that as hunters we should help each other out. No red carpet and honey holes just useful information.

Newbies please only post pics. You need to be a Premier Member before you can get solid advice. Really! I don't know anyone that hasn't asked for advice. If you don't want to help then don't. I want to thank those who have shared advice on my out of state hunts and in state hunts. Most non residents do not have the means to scout as much as in state hunters. Thought this website was hunters helping fellow hunters. Regardless of where they live.

Better keep a close eye on your antlers boys. Someone jumped my fence and took two big elk antlers from my backyard. Really pisses me off.

Well said shedcrazy45. At the end of the day its not really about what item those piece of sh!t thieves took but about the memory or the story that they robbed. I would look at those antlers and think of the day I found them. Both on archery elk hunts good times with friends and family.

Weather and dates are key in Colorado. With great weather and the right dates an average hunts can become great. Next year the dates are great for 3rd season and i will be cashing in my points. If you are looking for 170 plus only putting in for 3rd season hunts that take 5 to 7 points. 10 plus points(bigger buck potential) i would hold out for first season above timber hunts(you will have to pack in). The muledeer in my picture is from Colorado 3rd season that only takes 2 points to draw. Yotebuster is correct, big bucks are in every unit, and hunt any decent unit in Colorado and you will be hooked for life.

Thats what i love about AZ you just never know. Congrats.. A few years back i drew a muzz antelope tag with 5 points. We drew 4 muzz unit 10 tags, 4 on one app with only 4 points.

Yes a pp is 40 dollars( it was 25) but the total up front cost to put in is 384.00. Deer application fee is 374 plus a habitat stamp of 10 dollars.( i just put in yesterday) I stand corrected your refund will be 334 or 335 i cant remember how much i got back last year. (they keep 49 or 50 dollars) Just like every state cost of hunting is going up. I would hunt Colorado for deer every year if i could.

$384.00 up front, you will get $344 back in the middle of June. This is for deer only. Not sure about elk.

I have had a few giant bucks escape into private or i have seen a few giants on the other side of the fence. I would love to have a Colorado connection where i hunt. Colorado has helped me get over my AZ blues several times.

I did a point this year again so that i can draw the tag i want next year. I love hunting Colorado for mule deer.

Bonecollector777, You seem to always run your mouth on here and looking for a fight to win. Maybe you should go to school and became a wildlife biologist, work for the department, and change the way they are managing the wildlife in Arizona.

I am 40 years old and remember checking the mail for a tag or a bs pink card. We are lucky in az. I put I for other states and they never post results early. Maybe az should do the same. I bet if we keep bitchin about it they will start posting result according to the regs. Just like every other state.
