I've heard this line of thinking in the past reference a requirement to provide a service in order to charge a credit card. I don't believe this can be a factor because the service provided is a chance at getting a tag. The same thing as buying a lottery ticket, it's just a chance to get a tag. I am probably wrong.........

Well, that's good. I'm referring to a thread in the camp fire thread titled "AZ is sad". The post dissolved into people posting how they don't agree with people saying they "harvested" an animal. Or they don't understand how people say "thank you" to an animal they just killed. Anyhoo, I wouldn't bother going and looking, not worth your time.

You simply expressed an opinion, just like I simply expressed an opinion about your opinion. You claim you never said it was wrong to do, then contradict yourself by saying it "seemed wrong"? I'm not offended, sorry, but not sorry....

I'm just curious why we as a hunting community are so intent on pointing fingers at others and saying "I don't like that". Especially on a public forum where we all have the same interest. We are one of the worst communities at tearing each other down for trivial things. Then when it comes to issues that really do matter, we tend to turn on each other like a pack or wild dogs. Opinions are one thing but when your opinion is self-righteous and condescending to others it becomes destructive and pointless. But please, carry on. Bitching about stupid trivial things always makes everything naturally better.

The title of this topic is perfect. Perfectly representing continuous bashing everyone here seems to partake in over trivial things. Now we are debating what words others use for "taking" game? Or if someone tells a dead animal "thank you"? Who freaking cares! We all have our different tendencies, rituals, or habits and they are unique or personal. Ridiculing things like this just makes us all look bad. Please for the love of everything holly, go back to worrying about when the draw results are going to be out and stop the bitching.

I don't understand all this whining about archery deer harvest ratios. Mandatory reporting? Game and Fish tried this a while back then took it away. Well, at least they did it for archery hunters. They wanted to make sure they knew how many deer were being harvested during the archery hunts but didn't take the rifle hunting harvest numbers seriously. Sure, the game surveys were sent out for all hunters but it wasn't mandatory. I don't know why Game and Fish dropped the mandatory archery harvest requirement but I have my suspicions. I found it disgusting they only wanted numbers from archery hunters but not rifle hunters. With the optics and long-range "shooters" running everywhere the real numbers on harvest for rifle tags have had to go up, not to mention the harvest % of mature bucks. How many of the "voluntary" surveys actually get filled out? Of those how many are filled out honestly? But please carry on, I'm sure archery hunters are killing all the deer(mature bucks mostly) and this is what is causing deer numbers to go down....... LMAO sometimes this site disgusts me with the ignorance of so-called "sportsmen".
