Looking to get some input from you guys on a known good load for varmits. Looking for a 100 to 300 yard bullet/load combo that does not damage the hide much and provides good knock down power. I know that shot placement is key when hunting these varmits, but what works for your 22-250? I have been running 55 grain Nosler BT's around 3600fps. Hit a couple dogs over the weekend and 1 was ok the other was tore up bad. Any recommendations? Bullet, powder? BTW, I am using a Remington 700 22-250 26" bull barrel. I think the twist is 1/14. NBT's definitely get the job done. I had a guy tell me a week ago he was shooting 50 grain boat winchester boat tails with good luck. Never shot those either. My gun loves the nbt and the hornaday vmax's

We have decided to sell our shorthair Brooke. She is 1.5 years old and a little spitfire. Brooke is broke to shot, is retrieving great and has started her backing training. Brooke has started her NSTRA career but not much has happened....yet. Brooke is eager to please, loves children other dogs and is up to date on her shots. Brooke is out of 1x NSTRA Champion rockin g's Warhead Boomer and 1x NSTRA Champion Llanos Lelani. Brooke is on the smaller side at about 35-40 pounds. She is still young and needs attention and a friend in the kennel as she can be a little loud by herself. She is intact. Asking $1300. A good friend of mine has a litter of gsp pups on the ground. There is currently 1 male pick left out of a litter of 5. Rosie, the dame is a great wild bird hunting dog and a fantastic family dog. The sire is 1x NSTRA Champion General Fancy Blue Dax. Dax was an excellent house dog, family member and excellent bird dog. Dax passed away after the breeding had taken place so this is his last litter. Dax has dogs competing and winning in NSTRA across the west. My Duke dog is one of them. With this breeding, these should be some hard running, bird finding machines. Brad is located in Prescott AZ. He is asking $500 per pup which is well worth the money. My neighbor is trying to find a home for his 4 year old shorthair. Trying to help him out and pass the word. Jessi is a great family dog. She is good in her kennel and loves attention. She does not like cats and needs a home where there are none! From what I am told she is AKC registerable--papers never were sent in. Her owner is in Colorado right now, but I have her at my kennel while they are gone. She has been hunted many, many times but Jason can give you more info on her than I can.
