Bump, still looking
-
Bump, I also have the original lens covers and straps, can't locate the box I will keep looking...

Would also consider a nice lightweight rifle as a partial trade, prefer 6.5 prc or similar caliber.

I’m impressed that you all know each other so well. I have been on here for a while and didn’t realize there was so much beef between some of you. Carry on… Suns game isn’t available for me tonight

It’s early for eating popcorn but this should get real good real quick…

It depends on a couple factors…. 1- what will your tax rate be if you take the distribution? If you are in a high tax bracket it might be worth waiting a year or two to pull the money. 12% tax vs 35% tax… 2- what is it invested in? If the holdings are bonds or other low growth investments then holding them doesn’t make sense. If you are going to hold assets that outpace inflation then the numbers say you should hold them as they will outperform the cost of the mortgage over time I get this question a lot from my clients, having a home paid off is great peace of mind, especially in moments like this

The lifetime license keeps you in the 90% pool of residents during the draw process. You still pay the non res fees but you are not subject to the 10% allocation cap. As much as I think he is on a a bitter old codjure, there is some rational behind his strategy.

Couldn’t agree more.

Keep contributing, you’re buying on sale
-
Bonds are also a different story….
-
Tech is a different story though…

I wouldn’t think you would be down over the last 9 months unless your allocation is pretty conservative. Market peaked in late December. Year to date it’s down but not down over 9 months. You should be flat at worst over nine months, again, it’s all based on the funds you own.
-
It’s all about what you own inside the 401k. Most asset classes are down this year. Energy and commodities are about the only positive returns for the year. Think of it as buying on sale when the market is down if you are contributing to your 401k.

I have zero interest in anything you are “NOT“ selling and find it comical and kinda sad that you keep posting about random crap that you have that you won’t sell. Reality check, everyone on this site has bows and guns and bullets and primers and blah blah blah -

3rd gen (1996-2002) 4Runners are pretty hard to beat. If you can find one with the rear locking differential they are great awesome!

I compared the 554 to a couple other scopes this summer while scouting with a buddy that had one, honestly I wasn’t impressed. The short eye relief and the narrow field of view pushed me away buying one. We were comparing my 884 and an sts 65 hd with the 554. I’ll take the extra weight. If weight is the primary concern then maybe the 554 would be suitable but I wasn’t impressed. I also only use a spotter for judging game not finding it.

Mike was good man, he’s lookin down on us wishing us all well. RIP Mike.

Do you know what barrel channel? -
I think setting up the internal frame and the traditional frame are about the same amount of work and time. My next one will have a sewn in floor.
-
Consider having the floor sewn in. I have a buddy who has a Davis with the floor sewn in and it is super nice!! I run one of those thick vinyl tarps that are recycled billboards for my floor. Then I put down a peace of thin carpet, makes it super nice.
