The old swaro non hd 15s didn't compare to the 12x els. The 12x els are significantly most crisp, and the 3x extra magnification didn't matter. The new hd 15's though are just as good as the 12's or very close. The thing I like the most about the 12's is the field of view is much wider and they are lighter. If you're gonna carry a spotter then get the 12's to save on weight. Also, look at the cabelas euro hd 12x50's. They are not quite as good as the swaro 12's but they are great and still much clearer then the old style swaros and around $1000-$1200. I. Bought a pair of 12x50 euros on eBay as a backup pair or a loaner as I'm always taking new folks out with me. After using them myself, side by side with the swaros, they became my primary pair and I sold the swaros. Either way you won't regret the 12's.

Anybody use them? My wife has tag and a BDay coming up, was thinking about getting her a shotgun but she is a little small for a 12Ga. This would be used for shooting clay pigeons mostly and then an occasional turkey hunt.... Thanks for the input.

Not super picky on brand but would like newer bow such as helim creed no cam carbon element or similar. Want to spend under $600 if possible but will spend more for the right setup. Just curious, do you guys with the wall tents store them in the garage? I live in Phoenix and wonder how they do in the heat. Particularly the seams and floors.

Your 100% right the system is flawed. if they would take out the bonus points system completely out and have everyone on equal terms including NON resIdents it would not be flawed. its a lottery, some win some dont. a bunch of years ago the clowns on AZOD and a few other boards were trying to get the G&F commision to give out extra bonus points for certain things like conservation, attending G&F meetings, Public service , There were some other stupid ones as well. all the while complaining the system wasnt fair and playing the poor poor pitiful me card. while trying to stack the deck so to speak for personal satisfaction. A system that could allow you to go an entire lifetime without ever drawing a tag, would in my opinion, be more flawed then the one we have today.

If he really doesn't want to hunt, donate the tag, then force him to go and help out around camp, cook, gather fire wood etc. Let him see the appreciation of another person who might not be as blessed as he is and I'll bet he will have a different opinion next time. If not, at least you get to spend time outdoors together. Is it a youth tag?

Overall in good condition, the hinge needs to be tightened up a bit, it's a little loose, they still work great. You can send them to Mountain Optics in California to get them fixed up like new. These are great glass for the money I just don't use them anymore as a backup. Comes with case and lens covers and tripod adapter.
