How are the strings?

Spent too much, now I'm buying used

Just curious, do you guys with the wall tents store them in the garage? I live in Phoenix and wonder how they do in the heat. Particularly the seams and floors.

Your 100% right the system is flawed. if they would take out the bonus points system completely out and have everyone on equal terms including NON resIdents it would not be flawed. its a lottery, some win some dont. a bunch of years ago the clowns on AZOD and a few other boards were trying to get the G&F commision to give out extra bonus points for certain things like conservation, attending G&F meetings, Public service , There were some other stupid ones as well. all the while complaining the system wasnt fair and playing the poor poor pitiful me card. while trying to stack the deck so to speak for personal satisfaction. A system that could allow you to go an entire lifetime without ever drawing a tag, would in my opinion, be more flawed then the one we have today.

If he really doesn't want to hunt, donate the tag, then force him to go and help out around camp, cook, gather fire wood etc. Let him see the appreciation of another person who might not be as blessed as he is and I'll bet he will have a different opinion next time. If not, at least you get to spend time outdoors together. Is it a youth tag?

Overall in good condition, the hinge needs to be tightened up a bit, it's a little loose, they still work great. You can send them to Mountain Optics in California to get them fixed up like new. These are great glass for the money I just don't use them anymore as a backup. Comes with case and lens covers and tripod adapter. I had an ADL and was given a CDL stock by a buddy. I ended up putting this on mine and am happy with it. It was pretty easy to install and the quality is good. I lost my leupold range finder in 41W. If someone happens to run across it I can tell you where it was. Watch eBay, I bought mine for $800 Definitely not better than swaro but I sat side by side comparing them several times before I decided to sell the swaros.

I think it's great but if you have the extra money you might get the stx.

I glass with a few guys who only carry 15's. we are constantly getting out my spotter to double check game that even in 15's you can't get enough detail to judge. Since you can afford a nice set binos and a spotter I recommend 12's and a 65mm spotter. I went through the whole 95mm or 80mm or 65mm. Basically came down to weight. Spot the game with your binos, then get the spotter out to check details, points..... the larger objective spotter is not as beneficial if you aren't actually spotting game with it so the weight savings of the 65mm is worth it. The 95mm stx is unbelievable but unless you are a road hunter or a linebacker the weight probably isn't worth it in my opinion. It really boils down to what kind of hunting you do. My friends in WY swear by the the large objective angled spotters but that's cause they hunt mule deer and antelope from their trucks. They came down coues hunting this December and the big spotters stayed in the truck after the 2nd day. You may consider the 65mm stx.

I've had both the 12x50 els, and the 15x56 hds. I am now running the 12x50 cabelas Euro hds and the sts 65mm swaro hd spotter. Cabelas Euros are a better option then the vortex razors. Swaro 12's are best but the Euros aren't far behind. Shop hard and watch for good deals. Guys tend to sell their stuff this time of year.

My wife was 5.5 months pregnant and had an archery bull tag a few years ago. We hunted for 4 days and she called it quits. She was wiped out after the hunt. Two years later she had an archery cow tag and would have been 7 months pregnant during the hunt. She decided not to hunt. My advice is to stay home. Not worth the risk of something happening. Both my boys were 3 weeks early.

Kids have grown out of the baby furniture. Would rather pass on to someone in need rather then try to sell. Sitting in the garage ready for a new home. Crib, rocker, hutch and changing table.
