Probly could return them but I used them on a hunt so I don't feel right returning them just cause I want to spend the money somewhere else since they cannot sell them as new either.

    Question for Eyeglass Wearers

I have always had a bad problem getting binos to focus at long distances if I haven glasses off. The old swaro 15's and the Kaibabs didn't have enough adjustment to focus past about 1000yds with my glasses off. I finally quit taking my glasses off. 16-17mm of eye relief is enough for me with my glasses on. I have bad astigmatism as well.

    Favorite coyote gun??

223 AR with 20" barrel with 12ga in my lap. Used to shoot a Model 700 17 Remington, better for pelts but not good in the wind. Love the AR when doubles or triples show up.

I've got one you can have, I'm changing my ADL to a BDL. I'm in Glendale. It was on a 700 7mag, not sure if that matters.

    A little 6b elk success

We had two bull tags and filled one. It was a fun hunt overall but there were people everywhere! I shot this bull on 18th. The elk were not very vocal throughout the hunt. For the first few days we kept getting busted by cows so I went back to Phx on the 16th because of rain and work and picked up a cow elk decoy. I am convinced the only reason I got close enough to this bull was by using the decoy. I slipped in silent on a couple bugling bulls and kept the decoy between me and the bulls. I held the decoy in one hand and my bow in the other. After blowing out a few cows and working the wind for an hour I finally got just ahead of the bulls. I was lucky enough to stop this bull with just enough room to shoot between two trees. I tried to cow call to stop him but I ended up having to give the MHHT, like you see on those whitetail shows to stop him. The shot was good and he only went 75yds. This was a bit of a redemption bull for me, in 2012 I lost a bull here in AZ that I thought I hit perfect and then last year in Wyoming I hit a bull a little high and after waiting for 3 hours we lost his track in the blizzard that rolled in and dumped 10" of snow on Sept 21st. All in all this year was a fun hunt and I couldn't ask for more, just less people.

Is anyone calling them in right now?

I went and bought the Ms September montana folding decoy for the same reasons you stated. I used it to be able to move when in site of the cows and close in on the Bulls. It worked good. Got me to 45yds and I got it done on a small 6 point. Having the decoy between me an the heard helped a bunch, still have to move slow but I wasn't blowing the whole heard out with my movement. I held my bow in one hand and the decoy with the other. It is tough as heck to get in front of the heard and keep the wind in your favor. Good luck, hope you stick one.
  23. Nice work, good to know there are folks out there like Big Browns. Love this site.
