In great shape, used a couple times, comes with box and all accessories as new. These binos are very high quality. I compared them to my 12x50 swaros out pig hunting and was blown away how good they are. $1000 Funding a new project. Andy 602-881-0610

Why does Willie assume people are using credit cards? I use my debit card, same as a check. Just to support Bills point even more, there is no where in world you can get 10% on short term cash. They'd be lucky to get 1/12 of 1/4 of 1% on the money collected from applicants. They might earn $100 of interest over the 2 month timeframe they have applicants money. AZGFD attorneys believe it's illegal to charge applicants up front rather than after being drawn. Trust me they would rather not be calling people with declined cards. Get real!!!!!!!!!! Willie, how much interest are you going to earn on $135 over two months?ill do the math for you. Money markets pay about 1/4 of 1% per year. So..... $135x.0025=$0.3375 now divide that by 12 =2.8 cents per month. So would be giving up 2.8 cents per month of interest by "lending" to the game and fish. This conversation is a joke, you have no argument!!!!!!!

The older olive green models have one less lense coating. Don't remember which coating it is but there is a slight difference. I bought a pair of the older olive green ones that's had just been sent to swaro for repair before I bought them. I called swaro to see what work had been done before I pulled the trigger and they told me the lenses had been replaced with the new ones which had the extra coating.

Outdoorsmans Compact Medium Tripod trade for tall?
twigsnapper replied to twigsnapper's topic in Classified Ads
-
I would prefer to trade for an outdoorsmans tall. Only used a couple times, in new condition. Description from website:The Compact Medium Tripod weighs just 33.75 ounces and is 13.5 inches high. This saves the hunter 3.5 ounces and 5 inches compared to the original Medium Tripod. This tripod extends to a height of 36 inches, and provides an incredible amount of stability compared to other tripods in its weight class. Will take $375 or open to other interesting trades for hunting gear. Andy -602-881-0610

Bump - price drop to $1050

For what it's worth I glassed up twice as many nice bucks pig hunting this year then I have in the past and I hunted fewer days then I usually do. Maybe it's a combination of a better deer heard and hunters moving away from baiting and out to more open mule deer country. Interesting topic.

Vortex Razor HD 12x50 vs Vortex Kiabab 15x56
twigsnapper replied to couesfreak23's topic in Optics and tripods
I've owned both. Razors over the kaibabs all day. Don't overlook the cabelas euro HD 12x50. Better then the razor for sure but quite a bit heavier. -
Expensive optics - anyone have buyers regret???
twigsnapper replied to mattys281's topic in Optics and tripods
Just don't pay retail for them. I buy and sell a ton of optics just so I can try different models. Most people have a little buyers remorse when dropping large amounts of cash on optics but that feeling goes away when you glass up animals. For me I feel like I'm at a disadvantage if I don't have my 12x50 swaros around my neck. The nice thing about good glass is you can always sell them if you need to. buyers remorse - yep, regrets for having expensive optics - nope. -
Yes I do have them on CL for $1150, I did the same going back and forth between 15's and 12's. I like the field of view much better in the 12's and the eye relief is much better in the 12's for eye glasses. I had the new swaro 15 HD's and didn't love them enough to keep them over my 12's.
