We grew up elk hunting in WY with a wood heated wall tent. Ours was a Montana. They are great except for a few things. Have to be careful with little ones burning themselves, the tent catching on fire(we actually have it happen from embers out the pipe), someone usually needs to restock wood in the stove around 2 am. As for tent material, we only had the Montana, after the fire we went to smaller tents with small gas heaters.

Just wanted to clear up the CC charge thing. This is my Wells Fargo CC. This is where the temporary hits show up first. Mine was there for almost 3 days before it went to the posted transactions. I'm curious if people are seeing new "temporary authorization" charges or just having them show up in there posted transaction. You have to click the little box next to temp authorizations to see them.

You might also change the set screw. Usually they are flat on the end that tightens against the shaft like this: If you change to a pointed one it will hold better but it can also scar up the shaft if it work loose. If the pointed screw backs out I would then go with blue lock tite. ACE Hardware has a good assortment of set screws.
